Large follicle

Hi there. just wondering about an IUI I have scheduled on friday morning.  Monday I went in on day 10 for an ultrasound and I had 1 follicle at 20mm and 2 at 14,5 mm. Doctor told me to wait unitl wednesday evening to do trigger so that the 14's can catch up, and do IUI on Friday. Won't the 20 make me ovulate before Friday since they grow 2mm a day?? He said no but I am not so sure.  I have had a lot of CM in the last few days but so far no positive ovulation test. Any advice??

Hey there- I was worried about the same exact thing. I had my FIRST IUI done on Monday and I had my ultra sound on the previous Thursday and she said my follicle was like 20. I was really worried when she said Monday bc that was day 15 for me. I took 2 ovulation tests per day friday, saturday and sunday. I was surprised to find that I didn't get a positive as of Sunday afternoon. I was all ready to go in on the weekend downtown but it never came up positive. It felt really unatural for me to wait so long when I had all the symptoms, but I just had to trust that they look at follicles all day and know when they are about to drop. I would say keep a close eye on your ovulation tests for peace of mind. It is best to do IUI the day of ovulation. Good luck to you!!
