I have a question for you Number3at39. I'm not sure if u have read my earlier post but I have not been on bc for nearly 2 years and never had an oops pop up. That being said do you think now that I am trying that if nothing is wrong it could very well happen within 6 mo or since I've been so long without bc and have not acceidently conceived that I should see a dr just to be sure. I forgot to mention I tend to get cysts but they go away on their own could that keep a woman from getting pregnant. After 2 children u would think I'd know this but I never thought about it till now, now that I'm act planning this time.

Thanks for the positive feedback I feel horrible for  thinking I couldn't or can't get pregnant you are right I'm just too impatient and wanting it now when I do need to relax and stop thinking something is wrong with me thank you for that and to Courtney I will be drinking the ensure with brk from now on. I'm sick of people thinking im anorexic when I'm just thin so that maybe ill gain a few pounds be healthier and skip the behind back talk also thank you for letting me know about the cm it's still the same so guess its all up to me and hubby now to try another mo. Though if it doesn't happen I will try try again until it does. Thank you both

Don't worry.  You've got time.  Your not old.  I'm 39 yrs old,  will be 40 a month after son is due.  This is my third baby.  Conceived first try with this one.  Just relax.  Don't obsess about getting pregnant.  Eat healthy and take care of yourself. You should get pregnant within 6 month.  If you don't,  go to doc and see if there is a reason you haven't.

Keep drinking those ensure healthy weight drinks every day, not just when you miss a meal. I did that for awhile and went from 90 pounds to 98. A healthy weight is important in fertility. Take a fish oil too if your prenatal doesn't gave epa/dha, although most do now. You can get fertile cm for a few days prior to ovulation.

Have started prenatal, not the most healthiest eater in the world. I'm very thin and not because of any disorder so I do eat alot of Debbie cakes ect... Hardly no fast food at all but I do eat fatty stuff and that is just to try and gain some weight oh and ensure every morning when breakfast is skipped due to hectic schedule. I really appreciate everyone's advice and will get the opk one thing I do not understand is my cm today was very creamy and really stretchy sorry for tmi but according to calendar I'm still couple days off from the prediction of it. Could this indicate I'm coming up to ovulate or does this mean I have. I'm sorry I've never done pregnancy this way before like I said previously it always just happened. I am just so new to this that everything is oh my have I missed it or is it going to happen soon lol anyway I will be getting an opk tomm I may have questions on that hence I've never used one but thanks for your answers and patients like everyone on here what matters most is the goal in which we all want is that bfp.

I would try using an ovulation kit for a few months first, that way you can see if you are getting an lh surge (hormone rises to signal your body to ovulate) and you can see exactly when that happens in your cycle. Not everyone ovulates at the same point in their cycle so opk are really beneficial. Are you taking a prenatal, eating healthy foods, exercising some? These can all be helpful when ttc as well.

I was advised the same as well. Have intercourse  2 days before your expected ovulation and every other day after that for I think 10 days is what my doctor said. It stinks having to schedule your time and I do suggest using a OPK. If you do not have any for this cycle just use an ovulation calendar. It estimates your date so have intercourse 2 days before that estimate and continue on every other day for 10 days.
Good luck to you!

It's been a few mo but I haven't really followed all directions and timeline either. Anyway what is ur advice on this thanks again

Opk is ovulation prediction kit, which you can find at walmart, target, etc for pretty cheap. They tell you the day before you are going to ovulate. I would highly recommend using one for a few cycles at least so you can tell exactly when you ovulate. This app just guesses when it will be, but every woman is different and some people, like me, ovulate a different day in their cycle every month. Clomid is a prescription for people with fertility issues, it makes you ovulate.

I'm new to this and I don't know what opk is also I was going by the calendar set up on here. The day of my expected ovulation I did bleed a little and I know it wasn't from the pervious day of our whoo whoo time. I did read online u can bleed when u have a late ovulation but that just didn't make sense to me. Anyway thanks to you and the rest for the help this month I will def make sure we have intercrose a few day ahead of time. Being I am regular with a 32 day cycle how much can I count on this calendar that is included with this app. I do all my updates post and such through my phone. Thanks again oh also what is clomid? And why do women take it I mean I know to help get pregnant but must there be an issue going on with fertility when they are placed on it? Thanks again

Like dreamin said, it is best to try to bd for a few days before  your fertile day. Also bd the day of and the day after your lh surge.

Don't stress, you are probably not going to get pregnant the first month. It takes an average, healthy couple an average of 6 months of trying to conceive.

It's best to start trying few days before your peak day as sperm can live in you for few days waiting for the egg. Waiting till you think your about to ovulate might hurt your chances. Do you do opk. Or chart bbt or how do you know when you ovulate
