Late HCG injection

My HCG shot was 3 hours late.  Can retrieval tomorrow still occur??

I did call the clinic and they moved the time back.  Out of the follicles we had 3 mature ones and 2 made it to transfer.  I am saying my prayers.  Thanks for your advice!

i agree, definitely call.  they do time the injection and the retrieval to get the highest number of mature eggs.

You should immediately call your clinic, they will probably move your retrieval to be a few hours later.  There is a set window from time of HCG that most doctors like to do the retrieval within to give them the best odds of maturing the follicles (HCG triggers final maturation of the eggs inside the follicles).  If this 3 hours falls within that window, you are all good, if not, they will probably move your retrieval, either way, call you doc!  Good luck!
