Late Ovulation

Hi everyone,

SO I was wondering if someone with pcos and on clomid can ovulate very late in their cycle.  I am on cd23  and My OPK strip is very close to positive.

yes clomid can make you ovulate late. when are you expecting you next period?  have you been ovulating with the clomid so far? if not than you might not this round it is getting late in your cycle. keep chacking and good luck!

Your OPKs for 1/1 and 1/2 can be the start of your ovulation. Its hard to tell in a picture and when they have been sitting around past the testing time. If you still they are neg. today or tomorrow you should get a nice dark reading. I've read the whole test line doesnt have to color match the control line. For me its always a thin line at the bottom of the test line that is the darkest and fades into a nice pink line. I hope that makes sense.

Do you have EWCM?

Sorry I don't know if Clomid can make you ovulate late because it always makes me ovulate on "time." This being my 2nd round I ovulated at the same time 14-18cd.

Jroxy- I don't know when to expect my af!  I haven't ovulated on clomid yet.  I decided to check my opks until cd 28.  One person told me she ovulated on cd25 so I am hoping its coming

Nolta-i have had some ewcm that is watery for a few days now!  The test for 1/2: the photo was taken just after the time limit.  I have another I toke last night to add to the collection. It does seem to me that there is a small line that just as dark as the control line.  Ihave gotten some cramping on th laft side this morning and my lower back is hurting.  I told my hubby we need to bd today and the next few days just in case my ovulation is coming late.   This is my 3rdround on clomid, first on 100mg.

you should talk to your dr about starting provera if you dont get your period and are not already on it. what cycle day did you start your clomid? I know the later you start it the later you can ovulate so good luck!

I take Provera already!  I go thru the cycle and when i get a BFN i start provera so get my AF again.  He has me taking clomid cd5-9

I think I will ask him to up me to 150mg this next time.......  He made me stay on 50mg for 2 mths so I hope he doesnt want me to be on 100mg for 2 mths too!

Have you gone in for blood work to see if you have ovulated? I go in on cd20 to check. These might help you know what your levels are so you know if you’re going to or you have ovulated. BTW have you tested your BBT? I've just started doing that.

I have not done blood work but I am going to talk to the doc when i go back in for my clomid check!

My doc to ld me not to do the BBT because it is to confusing!  Maybe I will start doing it just to see what I come up with. I get up a 5:30am every day.
