Laying on Stomach during 2WW

mhv
Has anyone heard if you should lay on your stomach during your 2WW?  I know that might sound like a silly question, but I often get massages, and will be getting one during my next 2WW (fingers crossed my FET happens this month) and it got me to thinking if I should refrain from laying on my back during this time.
Any Advice would be greatly appreciated!

The muscle that runs from the neck to the top of the shoulder has a point that makes the uterus contract!! It is right in the middle and can casue early labor and is not to be done in the first trimester. Then the little toe and a few other spots of the feet and the inner part of th eleg three fingers above the ankle. Messages are not good for all htose spots! Also I will tell you I have know massage therapist claim that those spots are fine but that wrong!!! I have helped my cousins kick start labor that way! It does not ahve to be deep pressure! Even sqeezing the shoulders in the middle can do it for some woman. MY DH went to rub me and he hit that spot and gave me a contraction right away, I was around 12 weeks along then.

I have discussed this issue with my massage therapist.  You can get a massage during your TWW, but if you are pg you HAVE TO tell your therapist.

As long as he or she has been properly trained, they will know what they can do, and what they cannot.  Just make sure they have proper credentials.

My therapist even has table especially designed for pregnant women with a hole where the belly would go so the woman can comfortably lie flat on her stomach.

I wonder if you need to not get a massage in the 2ww?  Man, seriously how many other things can I think of! haha!  That's funny because that's why I was asking.  I get a massage every 3 wks, and of course it will fall within my next 2ww.  Although, my therapist said it was ok to get massage as long as it was just a relaxation one without much pressure.  I was thinking of just laying on my back the whole time for good measure. But, now, I'm wondering if she is right or not?  I only get my upper back and shoulders done.

This is an interesting question. i do know they advise against massages in your first trimester if you're pregnant.
