Leftover follicles

Hello,
I did my first IUI in December and found out I was not pregnant!!  I took Gonal F and Ovidrel as a trigger shot.  Well I was very disappointed that I was not pregnant but even more when I found out I could not take meds this cycle.  There are three "leftover follicles" on my ovaries one is 19mm,12mm and 13mm.   My doctor told me not even to have sex this month for fear of multiples.  I need advice.  I have been trying for over a year and a half!  My husband and I have been diagosed with unexplained infertility!  Should I try this month, I do not want to end up with triplets or something.  I will be high risk so I am lucky if I can carry one or two nevermind three or four!!  I just feel like the odds are  better with my "leftover follicles and whatever new folliles from this cycle.  Please give me your advice or experience!!!!!

Hmmm...I'm a little confused. Leftover follicles are usually considered cysts, and as far as I know, the eggs won't survive till the next cycle...so I'm not sure why the doctor seems to think they will increase your risk of multiples this month. I had a cyst after a medicated cycle once and was also told that I couldn't take any meds (because the meds could increase the size of the cyst), but I was still told I could try without meds that month. Not sure if the fact that you have three makes a difference, though. But the good news is that most leftover-follicle-type cysts dissappears on their own by the end of the cycle, so by your next baseline ultrasound, they'll probably be gone again.
