Length of time to get pregnant after d & c

Hey everyone!  I had a d&c after an ultrasound showed that my baby died at 9 weeks (the week of my wedding no less) and my hcg levels just leveled out and I just got my first period since the surgery on August 1st.  I was just wanting to hear other people's experiences with trying to conceive again after a d&c.  My doctor has already given my the go ahead!

I got pregnant with my ds the month after my d&c but mine was because the uterine wall was messed up?  In any case I have heard there is no reason to wait once you ovulate again.  Good Luck!

I also had a D and C but I'm still waiting for my first period.  My doctor told me to wait until I've had 2 periods to try again...but a lot of people are saying to just wait one...It's been 7 weeks since my D and C....I think we are just going to wait one.  Good luck to you!

I got pregnant again 9 months after D&C...another m/c...yep, two in a row....then after the second m/c I get pregnant the very next month...you just never know when you'll get a BFP!

I mc at 12wks and had the d&c in Jan. I did have a chemical the cycle after the d&c and another one last month. Still trying for the sticky one. There are about 12 women on the maternal forum that got pg b4 1st af and are doing great. I think one of them is around 34wks now.

really...so they never had a period after their D and C?  I just started spotting very little last night then it went away...wondering about implantation bleeding??

I've been trying since January D&C, but found out yesterday that my uterus is scarred from the D&C.  I will be undergoing outpatient surgery in the next month to get that removed.  Maybe then I'll get that elusive BFP

I had a d&c in july, its now october and I had my period the following month of my d&c Im so worried I cant get pregnant....its been 3 months.. My period has come on time and everything... What could be wrong with me???
