Lighter period post D&C

I had a D&C for m/c about 6 weeks ago; just spotted a day or so after then nothing until 5 weeks.  Then I had what I thought was a very light period, spotting for a day, a little heavier the next day, then nothing.  Has anyone had this experience post D&C?

I saw a fertility specialist today and she's not sure that was my period.  U/S showed a thin lining, which may mean I had a period recently (it may have been CD5?) or that I still hadn't recovered post D&C.  In any case, she wants to do a saline sonogram on CD7, but only once I definitely had a period (i.e., not this cycle).

I was just the opposite. I had incredibly heavy af after my d&c. It took a long time for everything to get back to normal. It was at least 6mos for me. Everyone has a different experience though. It may not have been actual period. It may have just been break-through type bleeding. I hope you get better soon and am sorry for your loss.
