is normal. At first I thought that it was the eggs falling out but thats just me thinking crazy. I also have cramps and breast tendersness and my doctor is happy about that she said that is a good sign. I alleviate it by going to accupuncture, have you tried that? I hope I was able to help, Im just a couple days ahead of you thats the only reason why I can shed some light to your concern. Keep me posted and let me know what sympotoms your having and lets compare notes. How many did they transfer and what is your fertility about?
Thanks for your response! I was concerned about the liquid more like water discharge I am getting. No I have not tired acupuncture my cramps come and go and they are mild now. The 1st days after the transfer they were a bit heaver but now they come and go and are not that bad. I am also on progesterone and meticorten. I had 3 embryos transferred and our infertility is due my DH low sperm count. They told us that 2 were at 8 cells and 1 was at 6 cells. I was told to have the bpt done on 8/20. I had my IVF done in Mexico so I am not sure how long you were gold to wait before the bpt. When did you have yours transferred and when are you going to take the bpt?
My BETA will be 7/14 on Tuesday. I am just taking it easy little by little. Is the progesterone you are taking by needle and is the meticorten for estrogen? I was just curious. My stomach is so big, I have never seem it this way ever before. I am pretty small so when my stomach is big everyone usually notices so people are already thinking that I am pregnant just because I look like it even though I dont even know the results until Tues. Our infertility is unknown so it is so frustrating. I cant fix the problem that I dont know. We transferred 2 embryos that were both grade A type and my doctor based on the progesterone and estrogen level blood test I took on Monday says that it looks really promising as my estrogen and progesterone levels are really high, but who knows. How did you find your doctor in Mexico, are you in CA, or even so San Diego, since you emntioned Mexico maybe you are close by I can recommend my accupuncturist if you are close by if you'd like. Accupuncture is great I highly recommend it especially with IVF they said that it works well with assisted reprodcution. It may be great for yoru husband as well!
I also have a big stomach but I think it's all in my head! We have been TTC for 7 yrs and it has been a VERY long road to get to the IVF! The progesterone that I am taking is through the vaginal and the meticorten is to lower my immune system. I was told by my doctor that the meticorten will lower my immune system so that my body will not regect my embryos. I am not taking anything for estrogen. The doctor in Mexico was recommended by a friend. I live in Texas so we had to take a flight over and stay for two weeks. I guess you are in CA. I have also had some nausea. Do your bbs feel hard cause mine do and they hurt too!
You are retaining a lot of fluids....that is why your belly feels full and hard. Accupuncture can help that. I have never heard of meticorten. I want to ask my RE about that..thanks for sharing!!!
I don't think I am retaining fluids but it could be. For now I have made an appt with my RE for 8/15 to talk to him about the IVF that I had done in Mexico. You can do a search on meticorten in google and it will tell you that it is used to lower your immune system. I was told that it is helps your body accept the embryos because once they leave your body and they fertilize with the sperm and start dividing they become new cells. So when they are put back into your body it starts to fight them and treats them like a virus. I hope this gives you more information on it! Good luck!
