I'm 6dpo today. I've had cramps for the last 2 hours and I hope it's implantation cramping, but who the heck knows. I'm going to start testing on Wednesday at 10 dpo. I realize that's a tad early, but 12 dpo is Friday and that feels so far away so I'm starting to test on Wednesday to "feed the POASaholic need." :0)

Nice poem :0) 9 dpo is kinda early to test, but some people do get a faint positive on 9 dpo. I would wait until at least tomorrow. Apparently every 24 hours really counts!

Hang in there. 8 dpo is really too early to test. You're waiting until the 16th to test again?how come? You could really test and get an accurate result on 11 or 12 dpo. So you could test on Thursday or Friday, really.

Ok Hannah,  if you're in, then so am I.  I'm only 3 dpo today.  

Our BDing schedule was not spectacular this month as I O'd 2 days earlier than usual. We only had a chance to BD the day before and the day of O, but who knows... it only takes one sperm and one egg, right??!!

Have done a few things differently this month, so maybe it will work this time... or maybe not.  Either way is AOK.

Well Im 11dp3dt and I get my blood test tomorrow sooooooooo exited but nervouse. I cheated I been taken HPT the last 4 days I received one negative which was the first one I took when I was 8dp but las three test have been positive. Im scared cause this is my second IVF. First one I was pregnant but missed carried after a week in a half after my blood results. I wish all of yall LOTS OF LUCK and all the baby dust in the world.

Do you ladies mind if I join?  I am 6-7 dpo--I'm feeling kind of crummy, but I am not sure if it's all in my head!  My nipples hurt (sorry TMI) a lot and today I woke up feeling VERY dizzy and sick to my stomach.  I also have a headache!  I've had cramping yesterday and today- it almost feels as if I will start my period at any moment.  I'm not due until 5/20.  Knowing my luck the nauseas and dizziness might be a sinus thing, but I've never had such sore nipples !!

The sore nips are a good sign. I think some women here have said they had that symptom when they were pg. I've had headaches and have been very sleepy and pukey-feeling, but I know it's my sinuses as I have pretty bad seasonal allergies. My bbs are very sore today and I have cramps. The sore bbs and cramps are normal for me in the tww, though. Drat. When are you going to start testing. I'm 8 dpo and might break down and pee on a stick as early as tomorrow with fmu.

Count me in.  I am 10dpo.  I already tested on 5/9 and my accupuncturist told me it was way too soon.  I am so stressed and cannot wait.  I have had cramping for almost a week now.  It was on the lower left, then moved to the middle and now it's on the left again wierd.

Yeah, 5/9 was way too early. You could test tomorrow or Wednesday and get an accurate result. 12dpo seems like a good day to start testing for most.

Hi, I just had my 3day transfer yesterday (mother's day) and I am wondering what the temps have too do with the cycle?? I had severe cramping immediately after the transfer, after waking up from the anestisia. I was doubled over. I came on today to find out if this was normal when I read your post.

I don't know if I will test early or not.  I've done it in the past and get so bummed out!  Usually when I test I get my period the next day or so!  So I hope by, some miracle, not testing I will be pregnant (God the things we think of to ease our own minds!)- Maybe I will wait until this weekend to see if I still have the symptoms.  I've had my bbs ache before my period and I've had cramps usually before my period--but not 10 days before (Except last month when I had my HSG- I had cramps the whole month)--and never the nipples, they are so painful when touched or bumped!

hey sue....well when i was pregnant with my son i was 7wks4d and barley got a BFP so i wanted to wait a little late this go around just to be safe!...ha ha ha

todays symptoms are: sore nipps."sorry if tmi"lighter cramps that feel really weird unlike any i have had befor! my back is locked up(which maybe because i moved a recliner yesterday) and i have to pee more like used to i would go 4 or 5 times a day now it like 8 or 9...also i havent been able to enjoy food anymore almost like i have lost my taste and gained smell! every thing but bleach stinks to me!!!!

Well SueGre I think If your pee is cold it make a difference cause wen I took my HPT I did one test with my urine "fresh" in a cup and a couple of minutes later I did another test in the same urine and that test was lighter positive than the other but it was the same brand. I just could not believe it was positive so I did it again. Ill keep my fingers cross for you and everyone else here.
Well I received my blood work yesterday its positive. Im sooooo excited and scared at the same time. Im taking it very easy cause Im scared I might miscarrie again. Well my beta was 140 and tomorrow I have another test so Im crossing my fingers it doubles or triples. All of yall take care and LOTS OF BABY DUST YALL WAY.................

I am 11dpiui and RE told me to test at 12dpiui but I might just wait for a/f to keep from seeing another BFN this month.  But I still have hope that a/f will not show but my body is telling me that it will.  Good luck everyone and I hope we all get BFP's this month.  Prayers for all!!!

I'm 10 dpo and got a negative FRER. I wasn't expecting anything different because it's just too early. Maybe tomorrow, but 12 dpo is going to be my make it or break it day.

I've got acupuncture at 2:15 today and I'm really looking forward to it.

OK, I will FOR SURE hold out until 10 DPO - its not that far away.  I may even try to push myself to wait for 12 DPO, which is Monday of the long weekend.

I'm so glad you shared your acupuncture experience with me.  I am going for my second acupuncture treatment tomorrow.  I love it - it's an excuse to sit there under a heat lamp and relax for half an hour in the middle of the work day.  What could be better?

Besides the acupuncture treatments, the acupuncturist  (he is also an MD) wants me to eat fish (fatty fish like salmon) at least once, preferably twice a week, take TONS of vitamin D, and have 1 - 2 servings of full fat dairy products per day (so FINALLY i can eat ice cream guilt free!).  He also sent me for even MORE bloodwork - which I have yet to have done.

He suggested that I read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and "The Fertility Diet".

He is a very nice compassionate man, and it makes me feel good to have him on "my side" of the fertility battle.

I'm sensing good things for this group - I think that some BFP's are on the way!

I'm not quite a POAS addict, not yet at least--being on this forum is kind of making me think about it though!  I just hate seeing the BFN, so I've stopped testing.  I use to always test the day before AF--and then AF would start Right After!  It never failed...so I've actually stopped testing and just wait for AF--I guess I'm admitting defeat.  But with the symptoms I'm having I might try testing this weekend.  I am due for AF on 5/20.

Today my acupuncturist said when the needles hurt on the right side it usually means a girl, but that 90% of his patients have boys. Well, the needles usually hurt on my right side and I told him I would have a girl before he ever told me this. He just smiles when I say this. I just think I'm slated to have a girl. :0)

(Imagine that! *sarcasm*)  After hearing great things about this book for 2 years, I caved in and ordered it today.

Sue - What do you mean by your acupuncture needles hurt you?  Do you mean like a twinge in the nerve, or do they really hurt?  Mine didnt hurt at all with the exception of a strange twinge all the way down my left leg when the doc was removing the needle.

yes 9 DPO is way early :-)  I took a preg test 9dpo this cycle and it was a BFN so I made myself wait until 15 dpo and BFP!  My first beta was great, 707 and I'll get the results of the second beta tomorrow.  I'm praying it's ok.

Wow your symptoms sound promising. I don't have that many. I've had cramps since 2 dpo and really sore bbs, but my bbs stopped being sore about 2 days ago. I still have cramps, though, right now in fact. The only thing different I feel is very bloated and my belly feels very hard and stiff. Oh yeah, and I took my temp this morning (not bbt) and it was 98.95. I thought that was pretty high and I'm not sick or anything. Maybe a good sign?

When are you going to test? Tomorrow? When I was pg in 2007, I got a very negative FRER on 11 dpo and a very clear positive on 12 dpo, so I feel like 12 dpo is best for me to test. Also, you know how FRER and the other early tests say you can test 5 days before a missed period? Well, 12 dpo is always 5 days before AF is due for me.

I use to temp with BBT but haven't done it for so long now.  I may for the heck of it temp until AF comes to see how high my temps are right now.  My bbs are a little sensitive but not really.  And my belly does feel stiff too.  on the left side.  Maybe that is where the lil bean is - LOL

Yes 4 years is a looonnng time.  I joined in 2008 sometime.  We miscarried july 2005 and then in march 2008.  We have been through fertility and every test under the sun and it is unexplained infertility - the worst diagnosis out there.  I would rather them find something wrong with us other then telling us there is nothing wrong it is just taking FOREVER!  Yes I think I am gonna break out and test tomorrow.  I have those test strips from early pregnanct tests.com.  So I will keep you posted with the results.

No I didn't have any symptoms before getting my BFP...The only symptom I still have is being tired but that's it.  I just got my second beta and it doubled from 707 to 1402.  I just hope this one sticks!

Can any1 tell me do you know if how hot your room is will that affect your temps in the morning? My house is super hot with no AC and i started to temp this past cycle but freaked when i saw it going up and down so i chickened out again!! Will it matter or no?

I just go by my cm. I have a good amount of EWCM every month so I know when I O. Also, right after I O, usually on 1dpo my bbs get sore and I have cramps. In fact, I have these for the whole TTW. I'm going for acupuncture also.
