I'm 13DPO but had a TEENY tiny bit of pink (like the size of a pinhead) on the TP tonight so I'm sure AF is on her way.  :(  I'll be thinking of you ladies though and wishing you all BFPs!!!  Can't wait to read updates!

Hey sue! I am about 12 dpo and refusing to test. I will wait to see what my temp continues to do. I may breakdown on my birthday (wed), just like last year. Got a faint positive last year on my birthday...maybe a better birthday this year? Doubt it from the cramps I am having...feel like my uterus is about to fall out...ugh

I am praying for you! I have had 2 normal cycles in 2 months! I am in SHOCK! I think the brain surgery really fixed my brain :)

The BFP I got 2 years ago next month was on 12 dpo and 11 dpo I got a negative. I can't believe it's been almost 2 years. Holy cr ap that's a long time. I still miss our baby so much. Poor little guy. He was to loved. But back to a happy note! My luteal phase has been awesome. I'm on cycle day 25 or 26 and no AF. The last 3-4 cycles I got AF on 4dpo, cd 20, and so on. I really think Clomid screwed up my body and I'm glad to be off it.

I think I'll be a total loser and test tomorrow. Crazy, I know :0)

Temp still up?  What a great sign!!!  Woohoo!  I'm 14DPO now with no AF yet.  I ran out of preg. tests so if AF doesn't arrive by this evening I'll probably run out and grab one!  I am thrilled to make it to 14DPO!  I had a short luteal phase that I must have fixed!  :)

Amy, my luteal phase is great this month, too. I think being off Clomid has made it go back to normal.

I tested this morning (stoopid!) on 9 dpo and of course it was negatory. Silly, me!

I am with you. I am going to test actually Saturday or sooner as the past few days my boobs hurt really bad and I had my IUI done Jan 29.. When I had went to the bathroom a few mins ago I had some white clump on my underwear (Soprry TMI) unsuire what that is.. Anyone know?

The white clumpies are totally gross. I've had it before many times. It's just normal discharge. Some women have said they had it when they were early pg and some not. For me, not. I hope for you YES!!! Good Luck!!! I hope to see a BFP from you on Saturday! What a wonderful Valentine's Day gift that would be. Much better than roses and chocolates!

Still no AF...I'm SOOOO tempted to put in a tampon for a little bit just so I can "peek" way up there.  Sometimes I'll have a little bit of blood at the tip of a tampon a day or two before full force AF shows.  Should I?  :)

I'm just so happy not to have AF yet. I'm cd26 today and she's stayed away so far. She came ridiculously early the last 3 cycles. I'm back to having a good and normal luteal phase and I'm really jazzed about that :0)

Sue - I remember reading about your crazy luteal phase the past few months!  Did your RE ever say anything about it?  Are you TTC naturally this month or still seeing an RE?

I am THRILLED to make it to 14 DPO also!  It's amazing that I've come so far.  I wasn't quite as short as you were but it was usually 8-9 days.  Wooo hooo!  Now let's hope AF just stays away for nine more months!  ;)  

Still no AF...will buy a test tonight if she doesn't show before I head to the store after work!

We're all natural for here on out. Since my E2 was over 80 (226 and higher) my insurance company will not pay for any more fertility treatments. Even if I get AF this month, just knowing my luteal phase is back to normal makes me feel encouraged.


My RE said it wasn't a short luteal phase, just that I O'ed early. I think that's total c rap. I say the Clomid screwed up my cycle. I love our RE, but I know she's wrong. She said we have a 5-8% chance of conceiving on our own. That was tough to hear, but we're hanging in nonetheless and will continue trying.

Hey guys! No internet at school so I am going bonkers during lunch and planning! My cervix is still high, firm and closed!! Temp was the same it has been for a few days.  But not getting too excited. I POAS at 8:30 today after drinking tea and not peeing for aboout 2 hours and I don't think there was even a hint of a line...dammmmmnnnn...Oh well, I will POAS tomorrow since it is my birthday (30! HOLY POO BATMAN!!!). I thought  would be done having all the kids I wanted by the time i was thirty - HA, yeah right...(grumbling under my breath).

How do you check your cervix anyway? I've never done it. How should it be if you're pg and how should it be if AF is on the way. Is there any truth to the position at all? I think I read on the web that your cervix can be in many different positions at any time. What do you think?

CHecking your ceervix isn't bad at all. Wash your hands and stick your middle finger (haha) up your hoohah and you will "bump" something. You have to do it for a few weeks or so to get your high medium and low because everyone is different. I have to DIG to bump my cervix if it is high up (wish this did something for me, but alas, nothing...would make it more fun, at least!). The cervix will change all the time so pick a position (try to always check in the same position because your body can move your cervix (ie: standing up versus sitting down). I check after I pee (and wipe) so I am sitting down and I just stick it in :) I had to dig for it today after yesterday's was medium (It wasn't RIGHT there when I checked but I didn't have to go cave diving either). Then you will notice the "mouth" of the cervix. It kinda is a doughnut shaped thingie. It literally feels like a mouth. After checking for a few days or weeks you will notice sometimes it is SLAMMED shut and you can't even get anything close to getting in there (usually CD 5-8 or so and DPO 2-6 - give or take depending on your body). I tend to have a softer feel (like your lips) closer to O and slammed shut right after O when my CM changes to creamy. Phew! That was a lot of info - sorry!

So, pick a position and check it everyday (I personally like the "after I pee and wipe" position - easier to find cervix). Another thing, you ever get that "ouch" feeling like DH hits something in sex? Probably a low cervix - hope this helps! Let me know if you have anymore questions...

I'm just thinking out loud here...but what if I O'd later than I thought?  I just can't believe I've made it to 14+ DPO!  I had what I thought was a positive surge on the OPK at 14 DPO but maybe it wasn't a true positive (those things can be so hard to read anyway!)  We BD on CD 13, and CD 15 this month.  I was disappointed that we couldn't do it on CD 14 ("O" day) so I tested again with another OPK on CD15 and my surge was already gone.  Maybe that's because what I THOUGHT was a + the day before wasn't really a positive?  Ho hum...I could analyze this all day.  :)

Regardless of when I ovulated, CD 14 or later, we only BD on CD 13 and 15 so I think I'm screwed either way as far as a BFP is concerned.  I just can't BELIEVE my luteal phase would be THIS long!  That's unheard of for me!

Grrr.  :)  Come on ladies...let's get some BFPs on this thread!!!!!!  :)

Don't give up just yet. If your LP is always much shorter than this, then maybe you are pregnant. I really hope so, anyway! I would be glad to start a string of BFPs. It would be my pleasure. I just started to get cramps after I just told Jen that I've felt nothing this whole week when I normally have cramps and very sore bbs the entire time. I'm guessing AF is on the way?

Morning!  Well I am even more convinced that I miscalculated ovulation!  Negative test this morning at "15DPO".  Ugh.  I want this cycle to be over with already!  I typically get AF CD28-30 and today is CD29 so let's hope it's only another day or so before she arrives.  I am not going to test again until the weekend.  It's a bummer because I thought Fertilaid had really made my system "clockwork".  I was excited to "O" on CD 14 and seem to be back to 'normal'.  Scratch that!  :)  OK, enough pity party!

My face was really broken out last night. I washed it with some acne stuff and it seems to be better this morning. I can't believe I've made it to cd 27. I expect AF in the next couple of days. Sue - That's my "goal" for next cycle...to start to BD more.  We're just not very "active" to begin with.  When we BD too often, DH is unable to perform!!!  :(  That makes for VERY frustrating TTC when he can't "go" on O DAY!  One month we tried every other day from CD 10...by the time we got to CD 16 (O day that month) he was exhausted.  :(  I know this isn't completely normal for a man but he refuses to take vitamins or anything like that to help.  *sigh*...

I hope your acne is a GREAT sign!

Jen - Think positive...AF isn't here yet so it's not a total birthday bust!  Now go put your party pants on and enjoy your day!  :)

I highly recommend Levitra for your dh. He might be opposed to taking something, but my dh took it for just a little while and it worked really really well. The penis gets very very hard and therefore gets much bigger and you are able to "go" for a long time. It's very pleasurable for both. Maybe your dh will like the idea of his penis being bigger!

I hope my acne is a great sign, too. I'm just so pleased with the normal luteal phase. Even if we haven't conceived this month, I'm encouraged by my new and improved LP.

Thanks Sue!  I'll have to look into Levitra.  He doesn't have any problem getting hard or staying hard...it's the finishing that's the problem.  Would that help with that problem?  We go and go and go and we are both so exhausted (and I've usually dried out) that we give up!  

I'm encouraged by your luteal phase too!  Hopefully it's a step in the BFP direction!

I don't know if Levitra helps with finishing, but I think he should mention it to his doctor just to make sure everything's fine. Maybe try a new position, or dress up sexy for him. Maybe he needs something to push him over. Sometimes TTC becomes a chore and the fun and sensuality of it gets lost. I think you should try to get him really excited about it. You will enjoy it more, too! I love when my dh is watching t.v. in the living room and thinks I'm just doing "stuff" around the house and in the meantime I've lit candles in the bedroom and gotten into something sexy and alluring. I'll go toward the living room entrance and just stand there and he sees me and he's psyched. Men love it when their women initiate sex. It's a real turn-on for them.

I just bought some Redi-whip for a recipe too ...woo hoo this all could be very exciting!  :)  Have you ever thought about when you're most "interested" in BD?  I have concluded I am a mid-afternoon girl.  Unfortunately I'm WORKING and even if we are home...we have Sarah running around.  ;)  We have discussed several times needing to make an effort to make our sex life a priority...life just gets in the way!  :)  I will definitely mention having him talk to his doctor...I'm starting to wonder if the TTC issues aren't totally related to just me.

Hey guys! Sorry I have been MIA today. Apparently I missed a dammmmn good conversation on hooies and Levitra! My DH has the finishing problem too. They just go and go...It suckkkkssss after a while. The only thing that helped DH was to take a break from TTC. We have sex more now when I don't tell him if I am "ready" in there. Just kinda go after it and then tell him afterwards I wass Oing, it helps him not to have a JOB to do and finishing is much better!

Only on medhelp can I comfortably talk about my hooie!!  :)  I am usually pretty dry with a watery CM (that makes me feel like AF has arrived and i always have to go check!)  I wish I analyzed my symptoms more when I got pregnant with my daughter.  I was pretty clueless, overall, back then about how it all works...and yet I got a BFP...hmm...does that mean that knowledge is my ENEMY now??  I always knew there were good reasons to stay DUMB!  (Don't tell my students I said that!)  ;)

Not dry poops with AF!  Usually they are mushier and I seem to have to go more often with the onset of AF...which I HATE!!!

Sue - I am usually creamy from O until AF. Hope this helps. My poos tend to get all mushy before AF and I tend to go more often.

Amy - damn - hate it that AF is coming into town. but this month will be better and more L is always good!

My BB's have deflated (they get all perky and full from O til AF - which is hard to do with a D cup, but they do!) so I assume my temp will be way down tomorrow and I will get AF by Friday. Happy vday to me...ugh.

I got my last BFP at 9 dpo sue, it was WAY light on a FRER and only a 3.99 HCG that day. Doc wouldn't even say I was preggo yet! By 11dpo I was at an 11 HCG and a good line on walmart brand (really like those!!!)

I tested this a.m. and it was negative. I thought I was 11 dpo but I might actually be 10 dpo. I peed twice before bed last night yet I had to pee in the middle of the night. This is very unusual for me. And I barely drank anything last night. I kept dreaming about getting my period. I have no cramps and my bbs are barely sore. I hope the lack of symptoms is a good sign.

Well, I'm cd28 and no sign of AF at all. I had done cramps today for about 5-10 minutes and my bbs were sore for about the same. I'm going to test tomorrow. I was thinking that if I O'ed on cd 17 or 18, then I'm really only 10 or 11 dpo today. So maybe tomorrow or Saturday will be the day.

I'm excited and I'm nervous and in somewhat disbelief that this can actually happen got us. If it happens now, I can say it was because I didn't think about it much during the TTW and I exercised for the last 6 weeks and ate very healthy. And if not, I still exercised for the last 6 weeks and ate very healthy.

I'll let you know what happens after I test tomorrow!

I had a great day!  We have a tri-county teacher conference every year where they have a guest speaker and then break-off sessions.  This year it was the guy who was the inspiration for the movie "The Rookie" with Dennis Quaid.  He was great!  The best part though every year is the amazing FREE food they have for us!  DH is also a teacher so it's neat to go with him.  We snuck out early and I just woke up from a 2 hour nap!  Woo hoo!!  I'm going to go pick up my daughter from daycare here in a little bit.

I usually do the tampon check each month but I try not to leave it in too long because I heard somewhere along the line that it can cause infection if you are pregnant.  It's always a VERY reliable 'sneak peek' for me though b/c I'll see AF long before she ever shows up.  Which reminds me...I STILL haven't fully started yet!  I am hoping tomorrow will be my official CD 1!  Sheesh!

Amy: Femara is sort of like Clomid, but w/o the side effects of thinning the uterus. It is suppose to help you to release more eggs & help them to be a little bit stronger according to my GYN Doc. So...I'm really hoping that is what will happen. ;o) I completely understand what you mean about talking to someone who can't fully understand what you are going through well ttc.

Dirty Dancing was really fun except we were TOO CLOSE and couldn't see the rear of the stage or people's feet at all. And, the who played Johnny was AWFUL! He had such a strange voice and accent that he really butchered  the role. There was virtually zero emotional connection between Johnny and Baby. The dancing was excellent though, and  the finale was really great.

On a fertility note, I am do nervous about testing tomorrow I can't even tell you. I'm do scared it's going to be negative or I'll just wake up with AF. I did get a little nauseated during the show, but maybe it was that guy's performance.

I've got cramps and my nether region feels a tad moist.  

I'll check in with everybody tomorrow morning.

Last night I took my temp and it was 97.something. So I was sure AF was coming. This morning with the ear thermometer is was 99.2 again. So, I'm confused. I know these are not all BBTs but I does show that I have had high temps and one low temp. I compared the 2 thermometers and they are very close. The ear one was higher than the BBT one, but not by much.

Yeah, I'm cd30 today and right around 12 or 13 dpo and still no AF and no signs of her either. So, we'll see what happens. I'm not terribly encouraged at this point. I just started  another headache.

I'm wondering if the late AF is due to all the exercise I've been doing. My dh and I have been going to the gym about 4 times a week for 5 weeks now and I know that sometimes change in physical activity can affect your period.

I told DH yesterday that I have a new plan for TTC this month.  I told him I was not going to buy an opk and that I wanted to try to have sex every other day during my fertile time.  He gave me a huge "thumbs up" and said he liked that plan so much better.  I didnt' realize his feelings about opks...but obviously the pressure was too much for him.  I asked him if he thought he could 'handle' BD every other day and he said 'absolutely as long as I know any one particular night isn't THE night".  So we'll see.  Of course AF has to show up first....

Jen, the show was really fun even though the Johnny character suc ked.  It gave us a lot to laugh about so it was totally worth it.

I'm cd31 today and BFN. My bbs are sore today, especially lefty. Usually it righty. I had some blood in my nose but I think I'm having sinus issues because I've been dizzy and nauseated and usually that means sinus problems for me. I just want Miss F to come at this point so we can start a new cycle. I'm doing acupuncture soon and I'm very excited about it!

Today we're going to the gym at noon and cleaning house and doing laundry. Rob is so amazing. He does the laundry every week!

Hi. I'm around 13 or 14 dpo today. I had a messy poop (sorry!) and I thought I would get AF with it for sure, but I didn't. I seriously don't think I could be pg at this point, but maybe??? I've read here about some women who didn't get a BFP until 16 dpo and not for like 2 weeks after AF was due. So maybe maybe I've still got a chance? I have no cramps to speak of, just a couple of pains here and there, and my bbs are barely sore. I feel nothing pretty much, so I'm surprised.

My sister did not get positive BFP until 20-23 days after missed period. She would go into the doc and take a preg test and doc would say nope it is neg. Everytime my sister would say but I know I am pregnant. Sure enough she would wait and test another week or 2 and it would always come up positive. She is rare but it does happen. For some reason her HCG would not show up very well in her urine.

You can implant anywhere between 6DPO and 14DPO so 12DPO is definitely possible!  :)  Is your temp back up now after the dip you saw Friday?

My temp went back up the next day and has stayed up since. Do you really think I may have implanted on Friday? I'm getting re-encouraged now. If I did in fact implant on Friday, would the first day I could get a BFP be tomorrow? Tomorrow is cd31 and 15dpo. Rob is home tomorrow. Still just light brown tinted CM and it's not even always there when I wipe.  If it wasn't for wearing a tampon off and on the past few days I would have NOOOOOO clue there was anything going on!!!  I tested yesterday with frer and it was negative.  I'm sooooo annoyed!!  I'm CD 33 right now...WTF!!!!!  I finished my bottle of fertilaid last week and didn't want to open a brand new bottle in case I got a BFP (you're supposed to stop taking once preggo)  Maybe stopping the vitamin for a week screwed me up???  UGH.  I'm just devastated that this all has to be so confusing!

On a happier note...I'm pulling for ya Sue!!  Keep me posted!!!

Oh, I'm sorry it's been so devastating for you lately. TTC really takes it's toll on us, doesn't it. Like, I can't believe that we were pregnant 2 whole years ago next month. And that we lost our little boy. And the IUIs didn't work. And the Clomid screwed up my cycle for several months. And the insurance company won't pay for anything any more. And my period is late. And the tests are all negative.

Honestly, I would not.  The only temps you need to consider are the early morning ones. I have not even ovualted yet and if I take my temp randomly during the day I also get some that high.  That is not to burst your bubble but I think it adds stress to the situation to keep taking them randomly during the day/evening.

This was my first complete cycle on Fertilaid.  I had only been on it two weeks before my last AF.  Maybe it screwed me up?  I have also been taking 100mg of B6.  Did I do more harm than good?  Hmmmm...I'll TAKE a light/non existent AF any day of the week...if I only knew WHEN to count it as CD 1!  LOL!  

The optimist in me thinks that I never did the 'peek a boo' tampon check with I got a BFP with my daughter so maybe all this crazy 'bleeding' but not really bleeding was going on then too and I never knew it because (like now) it has yet to 'come out'.  That's my lunatic 'half glass full', 'i'm in denial about this crazy cycle', 'what if i really AM pregnant', 'let's waste more $$ on hpts', 'what have i got to lose' attitude!  :)

I have been trying to concieve (conceive) since last year. Of coz havnt succeed yet.
Firstly irregular menses, then PCOS, then my hubby's low sperm count and recent try was with IUI.
Truelt speaking have stopped thinking much, coz every time the same thing. HAve developed stron pre meanstrual symptoms lastly, since a few irregular cycles, lot of nausea, giddyness, back ache, cramps, more urination, brest tendering every cycle.
Dont understand wat symptoms are these? Have started having temperature fluctuating too, as Doc said, i have residue of PCOS left in fellopian, so untill that comes out, i would be having fever, not more than 99-100 every cycle after ovulation, till i get my menses.
Any body can help me o suggest me, some better, would be really thankful..
Well, i too have to test next week, hoping again, let's see!!

I just had my beta. The nurse was so sweet, she put a STAT sticker on it to hopefully get the results today at 3:30. If not today, then tomorrow morning at 9:00.

I asked her about the exercise affecting AF and she said it would only affect it if I was going about it fanatically, and I'm not.

I'm sooooo nervous.

I told Rob I have no feeling either way. My bbs are sore here and there every day, I have 2-3 headaches a day, I'm peeing 3 times more than usual, I'm extra hungry, my face is broken out, and I've had moderate cramps here and there every day. As we all know, these can be both AF or pg and I have no idea which one is going on. So, I guess we'll know soon. My BBT was 98.4something this morning, but I have nothing to compare it to.

Please keep your fingers and toes crossed and prayers are also welcome.

I'm going to call today and schedule an appointment with a gynocologist.  I haven't been to one since I had Sarah.  I figure it can't hurt to talk to someone about what's been going on.  

I think I actually ovulated on what I THOUGHT was 7DPO.  I'm only using that date b/c that's when my bbs became sore (that used to be my "O" sign).  Let's see... that would mean I O'd on CD 21 (LATE!) but I'm only 13DPO today.  Unfortunately we didn't BD around that time so there's still no hope for pregnancy...but it makes it more plausible why AF is taking so long.  I don't know what on earth I can do to help regulate my cycles.  Obviously fertilaid didn't work...that's why I'm hoping a doctor can give me some advice.  

Anywho...hopefully a doctor's office is open and can get me an appointment SOON.  Last time I tried to see an OBGYN it was a 10 week wait.  Ugh!

I'm CD 3 and doing great.  Just happy to finally have the start of AF.  I added the ovulation tracker out of boredom and actually discovered that my "28 day cycles" average more like 30-31...so that really makes a lot of sense for my body lately!  I think I'm ovulating pretty late too...but as long as it's consistent I don't care.

Thanks for the reply Amy. I think I might try the ov tracker too. I'm normally have a 25-27 day cycle. I ov anywhere fr. CD15-18...normally monitor (or sticks) shows peak on CD15 or 17.
