I live in Toronto and have found and secured an egg donor. I am waiting to do a shared cycle. If there is anyone out there looking to share an egg donor in let me know. She is already approved at the clinic and has 1 child of her own and has donated 5 times. I wanted a proven track record! hello everyone, I'm 37 years old and never had any kids, and don't want either, however i have been thinking long and hard about being able to help other ladies out there to be able to have a child. do you think its to old for me to give my eggs away. please could someone advise me on what company or how to move forward. I am so happy to report that my donor has another match!!!! And it only took 2 weeks!!! My angels are definitely with me!

Ashley: My clinic put me in touch with the donor egg clinic. Your clinic will probably have a place to recommend as well. I also googled and found many sites where people posted looking for donors as well as wanting to donate. The only thing is with a private egg donor you end up paying more because you have to pay for all of their testing...if its through a company its already been done. Hope that helps :-)

How do u go about finding an egg donor? I'm new to IVF and my RE is talking about my next step being IVF with donor eggs since I have PCOS and my follicles will not grow on clomid, femara, or follistim inj. Any info would be wounderful! Thanks ladies!

Hello , I live at a 3 hour drive from Toronto and also looking for egg donor. I can come and stay in Toronto for few days if needed. But could you please give me a bit of info about Egg Donor, like how old is she, what Race, and how much is it going to cost and how we going to work this out as I am not a patient at your clinic. I am doing a fresh cycle so it has to be at my clinic. If I were lucky enough to have someone donate their embies to me I would go where I needed to but no one seems to want to donate to a single mother...that's just the way it is. So I am just playing the waiting game on someone wanting to share my egg donor. I am hoping it is soon because it feels like it has been so long already. The only good thing about it is that this is the first time since May that i have been drug/hormone free and I actually feel like myself again...even lost 7 of the 10 pounds i had gained. But I would love to be putting on some baby weight!!!

Was thinking about you and wondering how it's going and saw this post... is it possible to ship the eggs or embies too...? might be quicker if you could widen the area? or does your clinic require the other recipient to be somewhat local?
