The fetus measuered 6.2 days, but we could be a few days behind so we are redoing the ultrasound on Monday 6/30. Has anyone had a successful pregnancy with low fetal
rates in the beginning? I feel very hopeful and optimistic. I am hoping the heart rate will increase by Monday. We will redo the ultrasound on 7/9 because I am going to Vermont for vacation. It might be better to wait anyway so its good. After the 6/9 ultrasound, if the rate increases a good amount, we will still be cautious and wait and not make any decisions unless the pregnancy starts declining. In the meantime, while I am on vacation, the doctor gave me Percocet in case I miscarry, but he is doubtful that I will. THe last time, it was so painful and at least I can miscarry at home versus at the hospital. Then I will just have a D&C if necessary when I return.
Is anyone able to respond to my questions regarding the heartbeat. The sonograopher said that she has had patients with this heart rate and the pregnancies survived. I am definately hopeful.
I would appreciate any responses that I could get. I am going to watch some tv and get my minmd off of it and plus, I am on progesterone and just took a pill about an hour ago so i am extremely exhausted. I will be back on later.
I did not have any heart beat that early! I think that having a h/b so early in your pregnancy is a good sign. Also, I read that it's difficult to count every heart beat when u/s is done so early. So, you should definitely be optimistic.
i heard heartrate starts out slow and increases a few beats a day (I heard that on here so maybe you can look on archives)
if that is true thats not low for 5ish weeks
my good REs in california said first heartrate should be yes or no not a number?
hmmmm....that's something to think about. THe high risk specialist told me that as long as my HCG is increasing (even slowly), the heart rate is increasing. I get my test results back today from yesterday so I am thinking positive. The nurse said it sounds as if it is going well so far. The U/S we get done on Monday will tell us more. Just pray that its a lot higher. :)
