Lower progesterone level

Hi

I am 5 weeks pregnant after frozen embryo transfer.  I was taking progesterone supplemnets- vaginally and injection daily- my progesterone level last week was good- 21.  This week I missed 1 injection and 2 or 3 evening vaginal suppositories of progesterone and my level today dropped to 14.  Can this be entirely related to my not doing the supplements?  Or would that not have that much impact?  WHat is the possibility of miscarriage?  My first sono was today and the lining and everything looked good.

it could be from the missed but anything over 11 while in the first trimester is still ok. call your doc and see what they say. good luck

i did follistim injections and ovidrel (progesterone shots ) to get pregnant this month... i even did an additional ovidrel shot a week after my IUI in the hopes i was preggo that my level would stay up...when i found out i was preggo at around 4 weeks the doctor then had me use suppositories 2x daily...it went up alittle then back down to about a 14 or 15 (at 5 weeks pregnant)...i couldnt understand...since i was taking the suppositories why wasnt it going up? i was freaking out....to find out that if you were to take the progesterone orally it would show up in your bloodwork...but since you are inserting them in your vagina...it is doing its job...but its not gonna show up in your bloodstream. i was a nervous wreck until my RE explained how it all worked. i was also told at our pregnancy and how far long we are... our progesterone could be in the teens and still have a viable pregnancy. i hope this info helped! good luck!!
