Lowering FSH Levels - HELP !!!

Can anyone give me advise on how to lower my FSH levels, the normal is +/- 20, mine is at 87.  So my ovaries are slow and never release eggs, im very depressed, and seems my only option is to have IVS treatment, which is VERY expensive here, and not to say that i will fall preganant on the first try.  They say that i will be able to carry the child, but will need a egg donar, and they can use my husbands sperm, so theoretically its half his child and not mine.  But i have made peace with that.  Just want to lower my FSH levels now so i can try and conceive on my own.  Any Help out there !!???!!

From what I've understood, a high FSH is not the cause, but a symptom of the problem. So if your FSH is high, it's a reflection of your ovarian reserve/egg quality, and even if the FSH number is lowered, it won't change your ovarian reserve/egg quality. Basically, the lower the ovarian reserve, the more your body has to work to produce eggs, and the higher the FSH will be (follicle stimulating hormone). However, I'm definitely no expert, and I have heard people using DHEA to lower the number. Not sure how that works, though...whether it helps improve the egg quality and therefore the FSH goes down, or if it just lowers the FSH.

Also, there are always exceptions to the rule...and based on your age, it certainly doesn't seem like you should already have a low ovarian reserve. I think there are a couple of causes, other than low ovarian reserve, that sometimes causes high FSH...but I'm not sure. Maybe double-check with your doctor on that.
