Lupron and Follistim

Does anyone know the difference between Lupron and Follistim?  I've been taking Follistim and Menopur and started Ganirelex last night.  My re told me today that they might switch me to Lupron, any of you know why maybe? I have plenty of follies.

I am so confused.  I thought that was what the ganirelex was for.  Oh well, I'll do whatever to get my bun in the oven.

Lupron makes sure you do not ovulate before your retrieval.  Follistim & Menopur stimulate your ovaries and make your body want to ovulate.
