My DH & I have been TTC since 2/07. We achieved a pregnancy 7/07 which ended in early m/c 6 days after we found out we were pg. We have had no sucess after 3 months so DH & I went to see a RE. DH had a SA done the same day. I had the blood work up done on CD3 all normal. To our suprise a week later we got the dreaded call with DHs SA results. His count is 30 million, His total Motility is 49%, rapid
motility is 20%, nonmotile 15.3% and normal morph 5% with breakdown 4% tapered, 60% round, 6% amorph, 14% tail morph, 9% micro morph based on the Kruger, Strict Criteria.
Our RE suggested ICSI. But DH needed to go for 2nd SA, get a physical and be seen by urologist to rule anything out. He is 40, I am 36 so time is not on our side. However, here it is 2 1/2 months later and I still can't get him to do any of them. I know it is a big ego blow. I have been sensitive to his feelings. However when I brought it up this past weekend to see if he was going to the RE appt with me on 1/10 he got mad at me for bringing it up. Any suggestions? I really want him to come with me to get a better understanding of his results and the IVF process. Mind you he hasn't been seen by a dr since he was a teen!
Does anyone else out there dealing with similar SA results and DH feelings? I was wondering if anyone knew what our chances were on conceiving on our own again if it is even possible! I can handle the truth. So Thanks In Advance!!!
