Maybe PG

I am about 49 days late and we have been ttc for over a year now. I had a d & c and polyp removal in July because my uterine lining was thicker than usual. After that my period was very regular coming exactly every 28 days. then in december no period and nothing til now. i have taken several HPT's and all negative except one. Is it possible that i am pg but its just not showing on the hpt. I was wondering if a blood test is more accurate? HELP...

a quantitive blood test would be the most accurate since it measures exactly how much hcg is in your system and from what I understand anything above a 5 is considered pregnant but I would see your dr. and get some blood work I know for a friend of mine with 2 of her 3 pregnancies didnt show up on an HPT until she was almost 10 weeks along good luck :)
