Maybe a dumb question

Ok, I might have some not-so-smart questions, but hang in there...I'm new :-)
Is it at all possible to ovulate twice in one cycle. I had an m/c Sep 5 and of course it through off my cycle. I ovulated a week laterm than i normally do, my cm was dry and now all of a sudden cm is abundent and sticky. I don't really want to buy any more OPK so if this is normal let me know?

Oh that's not a dumb question! I wondered the same thing. It is possible for your body to release two eggs in one cycle, but only within the same couple of days, which could result in twins. So it's not possible (apparentely, never say never I guess) to ovulate once and then a while later in the same cycle.
SO, this is what could be happening. Your body may have been geared up to ovulate and then it didn't, so now it's trying again. If that was the case, you wouldn't have seen a temperature rise that stuck. So if you don't think thats what happened, I also know that sometimes you have an estrogen surge before you'd start af, which would give you more cm that would make you think your ovulating again.
OR, if you did the unprotected bd, maybe you are pregnant! I know women often have cm when they conceive. Actually, I'm hoping thats me right now! :)
I had a miscarriage (d&c)sep 20th, and my first cycle was wacky, but I got af 25 days after the d&c, ovulated 19 days later and am hoping to be pregnant now. Good luck!

I'm having a strange cycle this month.. I had a missed m/c (7 1/2 wks) and d&c on 27th September (I have left some recent posts) and using an OPK found I ovulated just over two weeks post op. Expecting my period two weeks after that we weren't using contraception from about 4 weeks post op so last week when still no a/f I got a bit worried I might be pregnant but all tests have been neg. Now my OPK's say I am ovulating again NOW and it's 6 weeks 5 days post op with no period in between. My GP says it's perhaps because my body didn't have any lining to shed post D&C so this is in fact my second cycle (the time frame is about right for that). So in my case it IS possible to ovulate twice in one cycle- because my body thinks so!
