Metallic taste in my mouth for the last 3 hours

In the past I was able to conjure up a metallic taste in my mouth, but tonight I definitely have it and it's gotten stronger. I tested it out to see if I was imagining it or not and I really don't think I am this time. When I lick my lips it tastes really strong like there's a blood on them. I had some soup and some flavorful chips and I can still taste it. Man, I hope this is it. I'm going to test in a few hours but I need to hold my pee for a while. I will also test tomorrow morning. Will let you know ASAP.

Hey Sue good luck ...how many dpo are you? I am at 8dpo and tested this morning ...naturally BFN.

I'm 9 weeks pg and i get that taste literally EVERYDAY it's a sure sign you need to test. if it's making you sick try the otc tums with calcium it helps me??

BFN this morning with FRER. Tomorrow is 12 dpo and 5 days before AF is due, so I will test again then. I was really upset when I got the BFN today. Last PG I got a BFP right at 5 days before AF which is when FRER says you can test. So, we'll see...

It is way to early to get upset!!! Most people do not get their BFP's that early. The FRER is only 63% affective 5 days before your missed period. The teacher in me is reading that as an "F". So, DON'T GIVE UP!!!
If ovulation was off by a day or two think, about how big of a difference that can make with testing. I really still think you are in the game!!!

Hey Sue, I am so glad to hear you are still thinking positive!! You have no reason to be down!!!! Maybe your mouth knows something the rest of your body does not know yet!!!

I know it is hard, but I probably would not test again until AF is due. That is what I always tried to do. Hopefully in the next couple of days we will be seeing in really big (espically now they changed the headings) "I got my BFP!"

I think they are better than FRER.There is no mistakes on the lines and also it detects very low HCG.

FRER was negative today. Sorry in advance for the TMI, but can lube skew HPT results?
I'll test again tomorrow. Maybe I'll buy a Clearblue digital. Thanks for the SSSSSSSBD.
