Metformin and Clomid

Is anyone having success with taking a combination of metformin and clomid?

hi can you tell me what your doctor told you this combi would do for you?? its just that my gyne is going to put me on metformin but if your doctor is telling you that this combination will help you to concieve (conceive) i will ask for clomid also!

hey both of you i'm on met and clomid. Bcoz the clomid wouldn't work on its own. On my 1st batch. But metfomin is another stimulent like clomid so used together is if 1 didn't work the 1st time. Not on progesterone till sunday so i'll tell you soon if its worked for me yet.. Good luck keep in touch please Lisa

I am currently on my second round of Clomid and metformin. first cycle was metformin and clomid100 mg. Nothing happen period even came on time. Now on 2nd cycle still with the same metformin and now 150mg Clomid I hope this works. Has anyone had success with this method on the second round.
