Mid Cycle Spotting??? Confused

Ladies perhaps one of you can help me figure out what is going on, according to my ovulation chart I should Ovulate today but I believe I ovulated early this month I had the EWCM 3 days ago so me and my fiancé took advantage of it of course. Then last night when I went to the bathroom I had a pinkish bloody discharge and then later that night I had brownish discharge and now this morning its very light pink almost unnoticeable. I also had some bad cramping in my pelvis area, usually when I ovulate I feel it in my left side for a day or two and nothing major either…I have Never had mid cycle bleeding ever, and I am not on any medications, changed my diet, been sick nothing anyone have any ideas what’s going on?

Also I looked at my last 3 cycles
Sep was 28 days
Oct was 25 days
Nov was 29 days

That's right, sounds like your spotting was actually your ovulation happening. Just going by the EWCM isn't enough, the pains followed by the spotting is a definite indication that ovulation has taken place.

I too experienced this and once mistook it for implantation bleeding and didn't BD when we should have. I thought I had ovulated around day nine but I actually ovulated on cd 13 and didn't realize it until we missed it. What I am going to do now is to watch for the mild cramping and spotting and BD that same day. We are wishing for a boy and on O day is the best way to conceive a boy.

I have a 23 day cycle and and always thought I O'd early like between cd 6 and 9, but I was wrong, instead I realized that I O on CD 13, and missed the window completely. Now my only concern is that my luteal phase is only 10 days long, which should be at least between 11 and 14 days. We have been trying for #2 for a year and a half now.. Best of luck to you!

Hello! mid cycle bleeding can defintely be from ovulation itself.. esp if it was around the time of EWCM!   my dr said they dont' worry at all when its mid cycle like that.. some months for some reason there might be a little more irritation during the ovulation process causing the spotting..  your cycles are at least good length, i think its pretty common for them not to be exact each month!   GOOD LUCK! : )
