Mid-cycle pinkish discharge

Hi! I have had a 33 day cycle thats very regular. I had my period on 3/29 and know my next should come on 5/1. I know I was most likely ovulating on 4/16, give or take a few days. I have had one child right at a year ago, and have never experienced spotting during ovulation nor did I have implantation bleeding w/ my daughter. But this cycle I started have a milky-pinkish discharge on the 18th w/ very light cramps and its been on-and-off since. Considering the spotting/discharge started within a few days of ovulation I don't know if its BECAUSE of ovulation or implantation bleeding, or what since I've NEVER experienced this before... anyone have a clue?

it takes around 6-9 days for the embryo to implant, I've also read on medical sites that it might even happen around 8-10 days post ovulation.  it's most likely ovulation spotting.  if it was implantation bleeding you would have spotted a week after ovulation.

Thanks! Yea I figured its one or the other, I just wander if there's  a way to tell the difference... I'm so impatient! I guess cause I've never experienced it before, but I know I should've ovulated around the 16th, so does the egg implant within 24-48 hrs??

Actually it could be either. Some women actually spot when they ovulate... the egg has to bust through the side of the ovary. And some women have implantation spotting. I had some random spotting mid-cycle and ended up getting a BFP about 2 weeks later. I never had any implantation bleeding or mid-cycle spotting of any sort with my son, so it was odd to see it and then have a BFP soon after... I'd say in a few weeks do a HPT and see what it says!

Good Luck!
