I have been fortunate enough to get to the 6w 5d mark but here is the problem I am having right now, I am having horrible migraines. I have no idea what to do to make them go away or at least subside enough that I can get on with my day to day chores. Also I cannot take tylenol for my headaches since my neurologist says that will cause a migraine cycle for me, which the only way to stop them is a week of steriod therapy. Any advice would be really appreciated, let me know if you had migraines while pregnant and how often. Thanks
I would go see a chiropractor if I were you. Then you don't have to take any medications. Iused to have migraines all the time until I went to the crak a practer. And you can go when you are PG, my sister in law does. Just a thought.
I am currently seeing a chiro for low back pain but maybe I will move up my next appointment and have him focus on the migraines - Thanks for the advice
i understand from reading much literature that headaches are completely normal at this stage; however, I feel i must clarify to anyone reading what a migraine is if you have never had one. On my drive home from work today I have to pull over twice because the migraine can mess with my periferal vision. I also rode in the car with no heat
due to the pain. When I have migraine if i reach down to pick up something i will become horribly dizzy, often times if the migraine has last more than a few hours then I will have difficulty walking with out bouncing off of a wall or becoming incredibly unstable
on my feet. So as you can hopefully tell by the description I have given you migraines are entirely different than your average headache. I don't mean to be difficult but I have had a migraine for 8 hours now and there is no relief in sight.
