Mirena, PCOS, bi-polar medication and conception

I have PCOS and a mirena coil. I also have bi-polar and take Depakote & Citalopram. My husband & I want to start trying to conceive asap. Will I have to come off my medication? And what are my chances of conceiving soon after the mirena's removed, with the PCOS too? Will it take time for the psychiatric drugs to be out of my system if I stop them? And will it take time to become fertile after 10 years of having a mirena and no periods at all during that time?

you need to discuss this with your doctors.
suddenly stopping your medications could prove to be a really bad thing.
many women with PCOS need fertility drugs to help them ovulate regularly enough to conceive.
so i would first set up an appointment with your psycologist to make sure you have a plan for your bipolar medications, and then with an RE to evaluate your PCOS and to decide if and when to intervene.
