Mumps immunisation

Does anyone know when when they originally bought in the mumps immunisation? The reason i want to know is my husband had mumps when he was a teenager and they believe this is why his sperm is so bad. I asked his mother if he had been immunised and she said no they didnt have it back then he is 27? Any ideas

My husband is 31 (32 in December) and yes they did have it back then.  He had the MMR shot (Measles, Mumps & Rubella) when he started school and had to get it before he could graduate High School.

I hit the wrong button....

I am 27 (28 in August) and I got it when I started school and then again in like 5th grade.
