My post-op visit after my laprascopic surgery!!!

I just came from the doc   Basically she said my left tube looks well and open although there is another fibroid that she wants to take out vaginally in a month (november).  She also is going to run dye through the tube to make sure that it is still open and ready.  She told me that I should not have unprotected sex until november because I will miscarriage easily before then (which I didnt understand) but I just pray that if its meant to be then my baby will survive before or after november.  She told me she gave me an estrogen shot (i will be looking that up to see what that is) during surgery.  She also said that I was ovulating from my left side (the one tube I have) which was a good sign. So what do yall think, should I wait until a month or shoot for the stars!  Anyone been through this or similar give me your honest advice.   Should I try (ive waited for this surgery for so long) im so anxious. Doc said I could miscarry...........Dont make sense!!!!!!

Yes, I would definitely wait. We have several posters that had heartbreaking mc's due to fibroids. Nickey carried to 18 or 20wks and the fibroids caused her to lose the baby. I wouldn't want to endure that kind of pain. I would heed drs advice for sure. It is great news that you have an excellent prognosis.

Hmmm! I'm not really sure, but I would guess the reason she said that is because of the fibroid. Personally, I would probably wait.

Glad to hear your tube is nice and open, though :-)
