PREGNANCY . THE DOCTOR SURGICALY REMOVED THE BABY. I WAS ABLE TO KEEP MY TUBE AND OVARY. NEXT MONTH WE ARE GOING TO TRY AGAIN. HAS ANY ONE EVER EXPERIENCED THIS AND HAD A SUCCESSFUL PREGNANCY AFTER A EPTOPIC.
. It is fantastic that you did not lose a tube or worse from it. That in itself is a blessing. There are some here that lost their tube and ovary. I think your chances are really good.
laparoscopy. They "saved" my tube and we started to try again about 3 months later. We're still trying 1 year later. I had a HSG (dye test) which revealed that the right tube where I had my ectopic was blocked. The left tube looked fine. Following our OBGyn's advise, we went straight to IVF but that didn't work.
Last month, I took Clomid and lo and behold, got a BFP. I was so happy, wishing I had tried Clomid before shelling out 8000$ for IVF!
Well, the pregnancy turned out to be a "chemical pregnancy" aka an early miscarriage. But it means that you CAN get pregnant with just one tube. You might want to ask your OBGyn. for Clomid, too give you a little push. It worked for me. I am now waiting for AF to start another round of Clomid.
