Hi, ladies
I just miscarried a week ago. I am beginning to believe it had something to due with my progesteron level being low and not allowing my lining to get thick enough for the baby to get a good hold. I read yesterday when one of you asked about exercise and how that can drop your progesteron levels. During the time I conceived I was living
at my in-laws house who have a farm. I walked all over the farm almost every day and helped with there cattle. So alot more activity than I am used to. My ? is, is there anyway naturally to boost the progesteron hormone? Personally I think I usually have a good amount because always around the time I am to start af I get really hot and I didn't last month. I also wanted to know how many of you had a miscarriage
I had a m/c in Jan and have not gotten preggo yet, but this is my month!!!. HOwever, I know someone personally who got preggo 2 weeks after m/c and I have heard plenty more stories along those lines. I know there are conflicting opinions on this, but I have haerd that it is not good to get preggo before your hormones level out, so you want to wait for at least one A/F to come.
As far as the progesterone, I take an extra B6 supplement to accomplish that.
Thanks for your comment. My Dr tested my levels last Thur day and they were already down to a 6. I stopped bleeding on Sat. My dh really wants to try again and I go to my dr next Wed for a follow up. I am pretty sure that my numbers are completely down by now. What does the extra B6 do?

Doctors often prescribe medical means to correct luteal phase defects, such as progesterone suppositories or fertility drugs such as Clomid (clomiphene). One should consult with one's doctor in any case. However, there are natural methods which are often helpful. Vitamin B6 and natural Progesterone cream or natural sublingual Progesterone are helpful for this.
I got those clips from the internet.
From my understanding, B6 helps your body to produce more progesterone on its own, and B6 also helps lengthen the luteal phase naturally, which is crucial
Thanks everyone,
My progesterone level the day I lost the baby was .8 and they said that it was really low and that the low progesterone could cause bleeding it self. Do you start taking the B6 after you ovulate till your period? How much do you need to take and is there enough in a prenatale vitamin? If you could help with these ? it would help. Thanks
Brandy
I take 50mg of the B6 every day of my cycle, I take that in addition to any B6 that may be in the prenatals. Now I take the B6 to supplement my already OK progesterone levels, like a buffer. THere is someone else on this forum (cant remember who) who takes 200mg because she has low progesterone, like you.
Your Doc should be able to tell you how it works and how much to take. But basically you take it the whole cycle, up to 200mg.
