Need Info regarding Clomid

last month i went for 21 day progesterone test and it was 10. My dr told me that i ovulated.Yesterday i went to my fertility doc and she told me that everything is normal except level 10 indicates poor ovulation.she told me to come next month for IUI becoz its too late now. She want me to take Clomid nxt month.
Does clomid have any side effects?
Does Clomid help in producing mature eggs?

your ovulation phase should be higher 2.4 or higher is better ovulation. Clomid has side affects like stomach aches, head aches, nausea, and hot flashes. Clomid just helps you produce more eggs. But its not the best drug for the more mature eggs. Alot of people have success with it. Good luck

i agree with Jroxy..clomid does make you produce more number of eggs in a given cycle..when I was on Clomid last two cycles, my day 21 progesterone was above 80 both times..but no pregnancy ..so yeah definitely I did produce more than one eggs..
the side effects that I had were thinning of uterine lining, dizziness and nausea..
