Need a MF success story!!

Hi girls!  Just checking in!   Hope everyone is having a good week.  DH had his 2nd SA today and we actually already got the results ( I knew that couldn't be good)

LAst month he was at a count of 100,000.  Today was 120,000 - still so very low.  BUT motility went from 38% to 52%- normal!!  I guess that just gives me the slightest bit of hope that maybe 1 of those little buggers could make it to an egg- I know I must be crazy.  Anyway the nurse said we'd talk to the RE when we go in on Nov 5th about IVF with ICSI.  I was sort of mad- like aren't you going to look into WHY my DH has so low of a count???  It seems like they just want to put us on the fast track to IVF.  We are fine with that being our eventual path- but anyway we took matters into our own hands and scheduled an appt for DH with a fertility urologist before we see the RE next.  I mean- couldn't the count be low because of something hormonal or structural- it seems like it is worth investigating!!!!

Well- anyway if anyone has any inspiration I would really appreciate it!!!  It's been a rough couple weeks- in addition to top off my day I went to my reg doc and found out I have infections in both ears...ugh!  I feel miserable!!!

THANKS AND SSBD TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps- I don't know what I'd do without the support of this forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He had an occasional dull ache, the urologist said not to worry about it unless he had a questionable semen analysis which he did. He has 2 brothers that also had vericoceles so maybe it's genetic. It overheats the semen, he was diagnosed by a physical exam although his brother had an ultrasound on his testicle. Hope that helps :)

Thanks!!  Did he have any signs or symptoms of the vericocele?  How did the urologist diagnose it?

THANKS and good luck to you!!!!!!!

My husband had a vericocele and a simple surgery fixed it and now he has super swimmers. It might be worth looking into, good luck.
