Need a list of Questions to ask?

Today I went into my old O/B who I absolutely love. He is so patient and kind. I remember after he treated my 2nd ectopic with Methotrexate, he sat there with me, patted my hand, gave me a hug, and told me you will get through this. OH MY GOSH HE IS HUMAN, and a Dr.  I went today for my 2nd opinion on the U/S before I decided on the D&C. He took the time to show me the Gestational sac, the yolk sac, then explained he did not see a HB. He waited until DH and I could see what he saw. He insisted on doing HCG levels today and Friday for my own sanity.
Anyway, the point is DH and I are considering changing RE's, too many problems, mistakes made, and not enough questions answered. It's strange this Re has a great bedside manner when she is doing procedures, but her office visits are HORRIBLE!! I feel more confused when I leave then when I went in. I always feel as though I am getting on her nerves when I ask questions. Like my situation is a textbook case. I have a consult with her on Oct. 2, before I make my decision. PLEASE I NEED EVERYONE'S ADVICE ON QUESTION'S TO ASK HER, OR THE NEW RE on what could be happening? (I have had 4 m/c, 2 ectopic, and 2 live birth's)

ask about your progesterone level, and estrogen level, you need higher levels of these to maintain a pregnancy and the higher estrogen assures a thicker uterine lining, in which the embryo implants and sticks, ask about blood work for MTHFR clotting disorders etc.. ask if you should have testing done on this embryo for chromosomal abnormalities, ask if you should have PGD before your next IVF. I would think after doing IVF alot of this stuff would have already been done,, but.. you never ever know..

You can start a cycle after your next AF, Thats what I.  Did u freeze any or do you have to start from scratch like me?

BabyPrayers: Thanks for the questions. What is PGD? I also take Folgard for MTHFR, I only carry one (homo), I have read in several places you don't really need to take any medications for it. I am on alot of different meds: Prenatal, Lovenox shot, baby asprin, folgard 2x's, estraidol, POI shot, and progestrone supp 2x's. Just feel like something didn't go right.

Guesito: Tell me are they doing anything different this time around? No I didn't have any to freeze, starting from scratch.

If you are doing a D&C ask for the tissue to be tested for potential chromosomal abnormalities that cause many m/c.  If that is the case, with your next ivf you can requst a PGD, preimplantation genetic testing to make sure embryos have no chromosomal abnornalities.
