Need some success stories!

So we've all heard the comments similar to "so-and-so's sister couldn't get pregnant with IVf, and as soon as she stopped, she got pregnant!" Or, "A friend of a friend was on clomid for 2 years, but got pregnant 6 months after she stopped."

Does anyone have any GENUINE miracle stories? I don't know if I should believe the rumors. Dr. says it's not possible, but I just don't want to lose hope.

This is honest and true.  My friend was trying to get pregnant when she was about 36, 37, or 38 or so.  They used IVF and it wasn't working.   She finally gave up and they decided to adopt.   They were told that they were going to get said baby and during this time lo and behold she gets pregnant.   So now she has a girl and boy and they are very close in age...maybe a year apart.  So yes it happens.  

For me I was told my tubes were blocked and after the HSG and this diagnosis, I got pregnant someone...unfortunatley it didn't last but you said pregnant, not take home baby.  

Those stories are definitely out there.

I HATE those stories.  If the cure to infertility was to stop trying, infertility clinics would be out of business.  

I guess if you try naturally for long enough you may actually win the lotto.  

It probably also depends on how severe your infertility issues are.
