Negative HPT after 10 day Embryo Transfer

I just took a pregnancy test this morning and it came out negative. :(  I am 10 days post a 5 day embryo transfer and I have had no pregnancy symptoms what so ever. I cried when I saw the 1 line of the Early Response Pregnancy test my beta isn't until Wed but I am feeling pretty low and doubt very seriously that I am pregnant but I wanted to see if anyone else had tested negative on a hpt 10 or more days after a 5 day ET but tested positive at their blood test? This is our second attempt at a frozen embryo transfer and I was really praying that it took this time.

Hello everyone. I frantically scanned these forums last week, when I did a negative test 10 days post a 3 day fresh embryo transfer. Because the forums halped me and gave me hope, I decided that I will upload my result to help others. So the blood test whioch was 14 days post the 3 day transfer is positive, I am pregnant! There is hope/bad pregnancy tests/early testing.
Of course there is a long road ahead for us still.

Congratulations there,,, I'm on 10 days past 3 day transfer of 3 beautiful embryos and I did a clear blue on day 9 big mistake,, BFN... İ Don't know why I felt so disappointed and miserable because I knew it was too early. Going to bite the bullet and try to wait until Friday tww xxx your comments have helped no end

Thinking of all of you who are going through IVF. The 2ww has been torture for me as I am sure for you all too. Its nice to here some positives. I am pretty down at the moment following negative test this morning.

First round of IVF which they used ICSCI- managed to fertilize one blastocyst and that was implanted 10 days ago. I was convinced I was pregnant- had cramping, tiredness and no period as yet so when I took test this morning and it came back negative was such a downer. Although I had tried not to get my hopes up I really believed test would be positive. Any support out there would be a great help. Having a day at home with a pack of tissues.
I am very lucky, I have a lovely husband, cat and chinchilla and trying to think of the positives at the moment.

Hi Krabean,
I have the similar symptoms like you and did the question on gg search. Came up ur question on this site 4 years ago. I have transferred 2 fet 10 days ago. I did 2 hpt  2 days ago and results was positive. But today, I tested again and result was negative. I'm so down and confuse. So, how was your blood test went? Did u ended up with positive result? Please give me some hint.

Hello. My wife & I did outr test this morning that come back negative. My wife took my eggs and was transferred to her on day 5 & the test shown negative this morning ( 10 days after transfer ) My wife is adamant shes pregnant - sore breast, bit of spotting 5 days after transfer, but moodier than usual & no period. Although a little disheartened we will try another test in a few days & also get a blood test through the clinic as soon as we can. We are still keeping hope & you should too. Hang in there. We had 2x collection cycles and two unsuccessful transfers. It's very disheartening but chin up. On the third implantation it worked and now we have a beautiful little boy. He was well worth the wait and all the heart ache. My fingers and toes are crossed for you all.

Then I would say there is a good chance you are pregnant all you need now is to take your Beta so that you can get confirmation. Good luck :)

The HCG shot you have to take for a fresh embryo transfer can sometimes give a false positive if the HPT is taken to early I think you have to wait 14 days for it to get out of your system but I am not positive. Good Luck and hopefully your positive is a true positive.

no not frozen embryo transfer. first time i am doing ivf .amd i transfer two .

If you did a FET then congratulations you are mostly pregnant. :)

i done my HPT today it is my 6 day of 5 day embryo transfer and i got a positive result one line was a bit light . what does it mean ?m i pregnent or it positive just because of medication ?please reply me

Thank you, we just got the results and they came back negative. I won't do the HPTs next time it was like picking a scab every time I got a negative and it hurt just as much to hear it from the RE so what was the point.

Don't lose hope as it maybe too early for the HPT- I never used them because it would drive me crazy if it came up negative after my IVF's.  Try to wait for your Beta - which maybe today if I'm correct.  Best of luck to you.
