My DH did one SA in mid September, we are going to other one in December, but before that our doc suggested to try multivitamins for him.
All my tests are normal, I ovulate properly on time, I also use OPK and BBT and we try to BD every alternate day from CD8 or so.
We haven't discussed any IUI with OBGYN or RE.
We'll see how the appointment with urologist goes, may be will also try FertilAid after asking him.
fair enough. IUI could be relatively inexpensive for you if you don't need to go on injectibles to stimulate egg production (which also cuts down on the amount of blood work and ultrasounds that need to be done)
if they havne't discussed an unmedicated IUI with your dr (assuming all of your tests are normal and you ovulate regularly on your own) might be worth a discussion.
has he only has 1 SA? or has he had repeated low counts? sperm counts can vary tremendously from month to month.
Hi, Yes, my OBGYN did suggest that, however we would to try naturally for few more months (also IUI is not covered in our insurance and not sure if we can afford that, not sure how much does it cost), my DH is trying all multivitamins and rich food.
We have appointment with urologist on 12th November to further discuss that issue and if DH can take any medication to improve his counts.
We are hoping for the best!
Thanks
if he has low counts, have they talked about going to IUI where they can concentrate and help the sperm?
