Hi, glad you could join the group. We're always happy to have new members. Sorry about the losses, but trying to look on the bright side; this shows you can get pregnant. Just need a little tweeking to get it all to work together. Sending you loads of SSBD!.
I would love to join the train! I am 41 now, will be 42 in Feb. I'm on CD17 today (have been having trouble tracking ovulation, but it could have happened as late as 12/18, if at all, which would make me 2 DPO). Basically I am newly diagnosed hyperthyroid and the treatment has just started working. (It took YEARS for the drs to figure out what was wrong with me!) AF had even stopped for a couple of months! And I had my third chemical pregnancy on 12/4. :(
So I think this month my hormones are probably still getting adjusted (hopefully), but I am TTC every month! Don't have time to waste, as I'm sure is the sentiment of everyone in this group! Two weeks ago, my M/C was deemed to have been due to very low progesterone, so I requested to be started on progesterone supplementation. I am using vaginal capsules (200 mg/day) at bedtime starting after ovulation.
I'm thrilled to have found this group! The 2ww is so nerve-wracking! And what a great help to be able to have such support during it! (especially from other 40+ women!) I love the posts I've read that echo my sentiment that there is no need for negative energy from doctors who think they know everything and don't! (I've had them be wrong several times already about various things!) So let's all always stay positive! As long as AF still visits, there is hope! Happy holidays, everyone! :-)
42 and counting. I wonder how many there has to be to be considered a community?
Well, I figured it out. Its not actually a community yet. Its a group. You can start a group for people with the same interests and if it grows to be big and strong :) they (Medhelp) might make it into a community and list it. So till then, a person will have to take the backroads to get there for the 1st time.
Yeah, I don't know why it isn't listed on here. Does it take awhile for a new community to get listed? You can type ttc over 40 in the search medhelp and it should take you to a question that you can click on and get to it. Or you can click on my profile, or adgal's, or anyone else that you know that is over 40 and might have joined it, and then click on it in My Communities. Hope that helps!
I would love to join. I'm 41 and TTC #1.
~Sue
