New here: had HSG, found 1 blocked tube -- what next???

Hi Ladies,
I am new here. I have been TTC for 2 years, had 1 m/c last year. I am on Clomid now (3rd cycle) and just had an HSG last week. It showed that one of my tubes was perfect and open, but the other-- well, the tube itself filled up but the dye didn't spill over. Haven't talked to my doc about this yet, but wanted to know if you guys knew anything about this. What, if anything, is done about a blocked tube? I am getting discouraged -- Christmas (being around my sisters kids, both sisters pregnant on top of that) was really hard.
So . . . what next?
Thanks for your advice!

Hi Lovely People!

Im new here, 23 yrs and have been ttc for the past 6months, nothing happened until i went through an HSG which commented that i have Bilateral Hydrosalpinx and both Fallopian Tubes Blocked...oh my God i have never been disapointed in my life, my husband have been so supportive and i really just wish we can have our little one. i foundout on some sites that there are herbal treatments that can open up my tubes and clearly put them to normal shape and that i will be able to conceive naturaly...but now i dont wanna purchase this herbal Kits if they are fake and money suckers, im so desperate that i belive the testimonies of people on these sites. is there anybody that have gone through this herbal treatments and successfully got pregnant naturally after such infertility problems??? please help me im really up to anything right now but i need direction from experts.

You can get pregnant with one tube.Plenty of woman experience this.
I had my HSG done 1 1/2 year ago and since my left tube was blocked my RE decided to do a laparascopy before even try with Clomid since he said that the fluid coming from the blocke tube to the uterus can make it difficult to the embryo to implant.
If you have only a blocked tube without fluid you might want to ask your docwhat to do.

Good luck and welcome to the forum!!

you know my best friend lost her tube from a tubal pregnancy and I asked her what her doctor said about if she can only get pregnant every other month and the doc told her that it didn't matter what side she ovulated out of that the fertillized egg can find its way to the good/other tube!  I have also read that the fallopian tube has suction to it, so that probably explains that!  Anyhow, she got pregnant really fast but mc and then pregnant fast again and is expecting to deliver any day!!!!  She was 3cm to her shock and amazement last friday!  She isn't due until 10/30!  Good luck to you!!!

Most likely, your doctor will do laparoscopy and either repair the tube or remove it.
