Please don't be scared about taking clomid. It's a safe and effective medicine. It gave me no side effects although some ladies on this forum had hot flashes and moodiness. I did not get success with clomid but it wasn't the fault of the medicine, I had other problem that was recently diagnosed. Good luck to you this cycle!!!!
thanks so much for your note, i am starting clomid tomorrow i am kinda scared but i am hoping for the best. i will keep you posted and please let me know how your appt goes. are you on the metophrim? best of luck.
i am also just getting started. I started with an Re in October, but she is moving away. Now we have a delay, because I have to start with a new RE. I am supposed to see him december 3rd. I will keep an eye out for you on here. Maybe we can compare notes on our progress. Hopefully, I will also be starting the clomid soon. That was the plan after my first RE visit, but like I said now we have to start with a new doc. I also have PCOS and hypothyroid.
Best of luck and SSBD to you!!

hey hun..welcome to the forum!! i like you have PCOS too and i dont want to discourage you but i also tried clomid for 4 months and one failed IUI before i moved into injections, clomid was just not working for me, but i do hear it all the time that some PCOS victms due use clomid and it works like a charm, im not sure how long you and your husband have been ttc and how determine you are to get preg. but they say you can use clomid for 6 months tops, but when i used it for 4 months and nothing was happening i moved on into the next step, so give it a try maybe with trigger shot and old fashioned baby dancing it might just work!! also are you taking metformin? i wish you the best of luck!!
