So, I went to my OB/GYN and explained how I have been TTC for 6 months now and my periods are irregular. 28 days....38 days....no period at all this month. All she said was that I have to try for one year before she will try to do anything to help me. I have heard this already that it is not considered infertility
until you have tried for a year but I can't just sit here and wait another 6 months with unregular or no periods and not ovulating based on OPK.
My doctor thinks it was because I was on birth control pills for a long time before I started TTC. Could this really be why I am not ovulating now? I ovulated the first month right off the pill and had a regular 28 day cycle. Then everything started getting worse and worse til now, no ovulation and no period.
What can I do now? Any herbal remedies you all know of or other things I can try at home?

I never had periods (or ovulation) before birth control (or after) and went to a fertility clinic within 6 months of trying. When I asked the dr. there if I "jumped the gun" on coming in so early, she said that considering my history of no periods and ovulation, I could have come right away b/c it was obvious there was a fertility issue with me. If you are anxious, though, I'm sure your dr. could at least agree to run some tests and see if your FSH and LH
