No O!

so i always O by this day of my cycle and still NOTHING!!! Am I being paranoid?  Is it possible I missed it?  I feel so nervous that I'm gonna miss it that I have tested 3 times today! I am supposed to do my IUI this round but I still haven't gotten a pos surge... my AF came 1 day early and to me thats a lot early since every other cycle it has been coming on the same day for like 4 months!  I don't know what to do, I feel like I'm not gonna O this month but i usually do!

Keep testing! I think you'll still be o'ing. Now that you're stressed about it, maybe your body will hold off a little longer, but I think you'll be ok. Good luck! Look for the other signs too, the cm and all that.

Is your dr not monitoring your cycle with ultrasound?  If you are paying for IUI, they should.  I usually had u/s on cd12.  

I would recommend charting your basal body temp.  If you missed your O, it should show up on the chart.

Ya, I need to learn how keep my body temp!  I see you all saying stuff about charting and keeping track of your temps but I haven't learned all that yet!  My RE isn't really keeping track of my cycle with u/s... the way it has been working is I get a pos surge line and I call them go in the next day they do a u/s then they let us know if we can do the iui...which is usually yes... Maybe he isn't having us do to many u/s because we are paying out of pocket?  not sure... Thank you both for your advice!!!

Are you taking any meds this cycle that you were not taking last month?  Meds can shift your O timing by a few days.

I have been on clomid for about 6 months!  Kind of a long time we're gonna ask if I should even be on them anymore!  I think I'm getting signs of Ovulating today so I'll test later this evening and hopefully it will be a positive!

sometimes your 'o' can be delayed due to stress or who the heck even knows why.  i think you're going to 'o' . so don't worry, it just might be a little later than usual. hopefully it will happen tomorrow. good luck!

Ok So I tested about 3 hours ago and I had a light line (just like it has looked every time before)  so I was all excited so then I wanted to make sure and I tested just a few min ago w/ my digital and there was no surge!  I don't know what to think?  Should I go in tom for a u/s just in case?

At the very least you should call him and ask.  I'd hate for you to miss it.  

There is tons of info on the net about charting if you are interested.  I really liked it and learned a lot from it.

I bet you caught your LH surge on its way up.  Digital test will not show a positive till LH is above a certain level.  I bet tomorrow morning you will get a positive with both tests.

You didn't mention what cd you are on.  Sometimes Clomid can make you ovulate a little later than normal.  Some women ovulate on cd 16, 17, or 18.   I happen to o exactly on cd 14 since being on Clomid.  But, everyone is different.  Be sure you aren't drinking much h2o prior to checking at don't pee for about 3 hrs before.  This way your urine will not be diluted and the surge will show up better.  Good luck,  keep checking it'll happen.

Thank you guys for your help!  I'll test in the morning and I will also call my RE and maybe go in for a u/s... hopefully I will be producing the bigger follicles on my side with the open tube for once!!! Wish me luck! =)

Did you O yet? I tested again no LH surge for me:( still waiting. Today I gave doc a call and she says wait till wed (day 15) if no surge by then come in for u/s. urghhhhhh I wait

I did!  I just got back from my IUI!  I am pretty happy because this is the 1st time I feel like we have a chance of conceiving! =)  The last two times we went in I was producing the bigger follicles on my right side (the side with the blocked tube) and this time although I had 3 follicles on that side I had one big one on my left side too! =)  Hopefully this is our month!  My Re always told me to go in for a u/s on day 16 if no surge but I always seem to get my surge on day 15... How long is your cycle usually?

No, I had a surge yesterday so I called and went in today... every other time I have been sure it was the day before because the line was so much darker... this time I was a little unsure because it was kind of light so I thought I would go in just to see on the u/s but they said I went in at the perfect time... keeping my fingers crossed!  Thank you everyone for being so supportive! =)

Awh my cycle is 26-30 days. The last couple months I've been right about 28 days. I usually get LH surge around day 11-12. Today however is day 13 and no LH surge yet. I called the doc this morning and she says to test again tomorrow (day 14) and if nothing call her wednesday. What do they do if you don't get LH surge and go in? I have never not gotten a surge before however I have NEVER taken clomid before either---1st time. Anyways congrats!!! I am so excited for you and happy you had your IUI I am crossing my fingers for you and I wish you best of luck:) Sounds promising!!!

I don't know what they would do if you don't get a surge!  I got mine later on clomid and my cycle is longer so maybe yours is just a little late because of the clomid??? I think if you go in they will give you a u/s to see if there are follicles and then they will decide if they are ready to drop the egg?? Not for sure but thats what I assumed would happen to me  if no surge =)  Keep me posted!
