No baby after 2 years

Hi i am Lauren,
The problem is me and my husband Richard have been trying for a baby for 2 years, and after my husband had his sperm tested we found out that only 6% of his sperm were actually living. I'm not confused i just need more info i've been on the search engine but can't find anything about it. Please tell me more about it and what we can do to increase the chance of getting pregnant....we're desperate.

We too have male factor issues and had been informed the only way to conceive would either be by donor sperm or IVF with ICSI.

Alaskacouple is right, with moderate sperm quality issues you may need IUI but with severe sperm quality issues your only way is ivf with ICSI.

Hi do they know why your DH has a low sperm count? Maybe there's something they can do to increase his levels. My DH has a low sperm count and we found out that he has a varicocele. Good luck-

yes, the doctor said his sperm levels are fine.

Did they have any insight as to why? Sometimes, like Bree said, the problem is fixable. If not, donor sperm or the other options may be the only route. Did he have more than one s/a? I know when they did Tim's, we had to go back and re-do it even though it was fine the 1st time. Something to do with regeneration and the life cycle and production. I don't remember all the info.
