No heartbeat

Hi , first time on a forum so bit nervous . 8 1/2 wks pregnant after second ivf , also had 3 times insemination with no result . Had 2 miscarriages . This time it already started bad , ended up in hospital because of overstimulation I was really bad and gained a stone in 10 days . With the punction they took 13 eggs out , 9 had a good match . I was still in hospital while they replaced 2 embryos , unfortunately after 3 days I started bleeding , went back to the clinic and had an ultrasound , they said I had an mc . Also had to do blood test and later that day I got a phonecall there were preg hormones in my blood ,I could'nt believe it ! Maybe they made a mistake , but no after a few more blood tests still preg hormones and the levels were rising .After 2 weeks I did a preg test , positive ! We were so happy .Three days ago I had my first ultrasound ... I 'm still in shock about the result , no heartbeat and the size of 6 1/2 wks .Fert.specialist said I had to come back in five days for a second ultrasound , if there is still no heartbeat I have to go in for a D&C . But I can also lose it in these five days ... We are so worried and don't know what to do anymore , these are the most difficult days in our life .Anyone with a simmular experience ? Bab - I'm so sorry for all that  you've gone through.  Unfortunately I think you're in the waiting game - waiting to see what the 2nd u/s shows.  I've been through two cycles (well almost) of IVF and have had 2 m/c's (naturally conceived) so I know what an emotional rollercoaster all of this is.

Hi and welcome! U have come to the right place for advice and support. Im really sorry to hear what u have been through. I personally havnt been through ivf and mc but my cousin was in the same boat as u,where on her 6 week scan there was no heart beat im afraid she lost the baby but her second time it was all good. What im trying to say is keep faith but if it comes to the worst dont give up and be strong i knw easier said than done. Good luck and lots of baby dust to u x
