No thermal shift of 0.4 or more, but temps still going up ~ could I have o'd?

No thermal shift of 0.4 or more, but temps still going up ~ could I have o'd?

I hate to sound like a broken record but here have been my temps since I got a +OPK on CD12 and had IUI on CD13 (nurse said I would have o'd on that day):

CD14 97.06
CD15 97.21
CD16 97.56
CD17 97.78
CD18 97.89
CD19 98.02

As you can see there has not been one single temp increase of 0.4 degrees or more so I'm confused as to what to think.  The RE's nurse said I should worry about temping since I got the +OPK but I have a history of getting a +OPK and not having a good ovulation.  Tomorrow is 7dpo and I can't decide whether or not to get my progesterone level taken or just wait it out.  I've been on 200 mg Prometrium since CD15, which I'm afraid has caused my temps to rise.  Ugh!!!  I hate the unknown and worrying about this.  My RE wants to move on to injectibles if this round of Clomid doesn't work but if I am O'ing on Clomid, I don't want to take any chances with the injectibles.

Would you get your progesterone taken tomorrow and/or do you think the Prometrium will have much of an impact on that result?

Thanks in advance for your responses!

I am not sure about that......   Do you use fertility friend?  If not, maybe you could plug the numbers into tehir ebsite and see if they say you 'd.  Its free and they will evaluate your numbers and tell you if your thermal shifts indicate that you o'd.    Also, why doesnt your doc do a progesterone check to verify ovulation or not......?

The shift can be either .3 or .4 more than the previous 5 or 6 temps.  Some women have what they call a slow rise after O.  Also the shift is not always a rise of .3 in one day.  Your temp could be 97.4 before O and then 97.6 and then 97.7 and then remain higher and you would be considered to have O'd.  But it's important to know the pre-O temps because the after O temp has to be .3 or .4 higher than the "GROUP" of temps before O, not just the last temp.  You should definitely use fertilityfriend because that would help you a lot better because temping can be frustrating or confusing at times.

Good luck!

It's not uncommon to have a slow rise in you BBT after you ovulate. It can take up to three days for my BBT to rise, but you need to look at the pattern of your pre-O temps and post-O temps to know for sure. Do you use FertilityFriend.com? I highly recommend it. It has helped me a lot.

Actually I do use fertility friend but since I don't have any temps from CD4-CD14, it's not showing that I O'd.  I was supposed to go in on CD13 for u/s, hcg and IUI but since I got the +OPK on CD12, they didn't do the u/s or hcg.  I was kinda frustrated since I had no way of knowing if I had any mature follicles and yet I spent all that money for IUI.  When I mentioned getting a progesterone check at 7 dpo they said I could if I wanted.  This is my first month with the RE so I guess I don't really know what to expect.  All my other cycles on Clomid when I o'd I had a clear thermal shift, so this one kinda confuses me.

Oh well, there's nothing I can do about it now except wait and pray for a miracle.  Thanks for all your responses!
