Normal progesterone levels while on prometrium

I ovulated on day 16 and a week later my progesterone level was 53.3 and am currenlty taking prometrium. 53 is high could it be the prometrium or could i be pregnant?

I think prometrium will raise your levels whether you're pregnant or not...but hopefully this is your month!!! Best of luck!

How much prometrium are you taking?  I was on 200mg until 13 weeks and one cycle my progesterone was in the 30s. The next cycle it was in the 50s. I questioned the higher number and come to find out - it was b/c I had conceived and was pregnant that time!  Good luck!

I wish you the best of luck, but unfortunately, progesterone levels are not indicative of pregnancy (esp. when on supplements and other meds.)  When I was on clomid for the first time, my prog. number was 58 and I was preg. but mc at 8 weeks.  Then it was in the twenties and thirties each month and BFN each time.  I just finished my first IVF and my prog. level was 85 and it was again a BFN.

Sorry, but just try to focus on positive and don't read too much information - you'll drive yourself crazy!  For every person who has had one thing happen, you will find three that had different things happen :)
