Hi. Yes, definitely bd tonight & tomorrow. It's my understanding that you O within 48 hours of getting your first +, so get busy ! (j/k)
Best wishes to you !!! :-)
Thanks for being my friend when i need someone to cry on... I feel much better. Last night I tested and I did have OPK+ and this morning. I guess I am better getting busy huh.
Today is my CD12. Do you think I should BD tonight, or wait until tomorrow. I told my DH that we are going to BD tonight and this time i will try different position. Maybe it's helps.
Once again. Thanks to all ladies.
SSBD to all
I'm glad to see you back here, babyblue :) I don't know if I can help, but I usually O around CD15-17. This is my first cycle on clomid. I'm CD14 & I don't have a +opk yet, but I will test in a few minutes. My very best to you !!!
I had a lap that showed that fertility treatments could not work for us. I was happy I did not waste time and money on injectables. Most REs do a lap before moving to more invasive treatments. If you are dealing with unexplained infertility perhaps you should consider it. Who knows, it may reveal what the problem may be.
Best of luck to you this cycle!!
I am so sorry that you're so down today. I agree with the others in that when I was on Clomid and Femara it always delayed my O versus a natural cycle. I'm sort of in the same boat as you since I was on meds for 8 cycles and this is now my 2nd off of them and I'm still trying to figure my body out. Do you use BBT too? If not, that might be something you want to consider. Last cycle, I didn't get my positive OPK until cd14 and then my temps went up on cd15, which seemed right. So this month, I planned to start my OPK's on cd11 just to be safe, but that morning my temps went way up and have stayed up so apparently I O'd way earlier than I expected. So, I guess my point is that your body is probably still adjusting and it might ease your mind if you could back up your OPK testing with BBT for comparison purposes. Good luck to you and hang in there!
Hi BabyBlue! Sorry you're feeling so discouraged right now. Things will turn around, though, and you WILL get your BFP! As for ovulation on clomid/femara, I'm with Helen. On meds, I've been ovulating on CD14 or 15, and without any meds, I usually get a positive OPK on CD12. So I usually start using OPKs on CD10.
Best of luck, BabyBlue! I hope you get your +OPK very soon...and a +HPT a couple of weeks after that :-)
tell you the truth i never pay attention when I O after doctor put me on med. I might remembered i did have EWCM. I was on med since October 07.
Helen72 - no i haven't have a lap yet. IVF is out of the question due to financial. Love to but can't afford it.
:-(
I've gotten them as early as cd10 and as late as cd36! The meds can really alter a natural cycle when you go off of them. Do you normally o without stimulating meds?
On clomid I typically get positive opk on cd 14-15. Without any drugs, my opk is positive on cd 12-13. So, I O earlier without treatments.
I am so very sorry your last cycle did not work. It's so frustrating when you do everything right and get bfn. Have you done a lap yet? Is ivf an option for you?
I started testing CD11 - I am going "natural" this cycle too. I was getting discouraged cause they were all coming out negative. Yesterday in the morning I took one a got a neg. then last night when I got home from class, dh asked if I was going to test. I hadn't planned on it, but I figured what the heck - It was +!! There it was, the beautiful smiley face on the stick!!
So, just keep testing and don't lose hope :) Good luck and SSBD!!
Hugs :)
