OPKs -- Digital vs. Cheapies

OPKs -- Digital vs. Cheapies

I started 40 mg Clomid CD5-9 for the first time this month. I started a 7-pack of Rite Aid OPK's (the kind w/two lines) and did them from CD 10-16 with all negatives. I ran out, so today I splurged on the $30 7-pk. of ClearBlue digital OPK (the kind with the empty circle and smiley face).
My very first digital OPK this afternoon was a big ol' SMILEY FACE. I'm CD17.
This makes sense as many have told me on clomid you tend to O CD17-20 but I find it sorta ironic that the cheapies were all negative and the first digital one i used was a big positive.

Do they work just as well? Is this just a coincidence?  Thoughts!?

Thanks guys! xoxo

I love the digital ones -- that is all I use are the circle vs smiley faces.  I always had a hard time judging if the lines were same color or darker -- LOL.  Good luck
