OPKs and water

OPKs and water

OK...so I've read that in order to optimize your chances for conception, you need to drink lots of water to increase CM. BUT the annoying thing is that every month, when I get closer to ovulation, I start using OPKs...and then you're not suppose to drink anything for four hours. So I basically get up, pee, wait for four hours while I do some work, and then test. So I never drink anything from the time I go to bed till the time I test at like noon the next day. Does it matter?

I have been using OPK's for years now and they never gave me a false negative if I was drinking.  I never abstain from drinking and results are always the same.  This month I was testing twice a day, am and pm with evening test after food & drink.  Morning test always confirms what the evening test says.  So, don't worry about that.

Oh, OK! That's good to know. Maybe I just need to relax and not worry so much about drinking anything before testing then...as long as I'm not drinking gallons at a time :-)

Thanks, Helen!
