OVULATION QUESTION

I had a m/c and d&c on 01/09 and had heavy bleeding for 10 days and am now on day 6 of spotting,I took a hpt on tues that was neg(was told if hcg was under 20 would show neg),my doc doesnt want to check hcg levels until next week,my question is i figured since i was still bleeding i would not ovulate so we have been bd without protection since last friday after doc said ok. Am I right that I wont ovulate until the bleeding is over?

you said you are now spotting and yes you can ovulare while bleeding although not real likely but more likely with spotting.

You can still get pg. Even during af you can get pg, not common, but certainly possible. I mc on 1/3, d&c on 1/4 still have occasional light spotting, not a lot but some and I ovulated around the 19th.

if you are just spotting then yes you can possibly O and get pregnant. and yes it is rare but some women are fertile during the week of af visit. are you ttc again?
