On the pill and no period!!???!!

Hey ladies as you know i am on the pill for a few months to recover from surgery. I am starting to worry though. i am on the "period pills" and only have two left before the next pack and i still have no period. i usually get it after three days on them but so far nothing. I havent taken a pregnancy test cause im afraid that it will be a waste and i thought i would post here first and see what yall think:) should i test or wait till i actually finish the pack tuesday and see what happens then:) thanks so much in advance

hey ladies just wanted to let you know that i got Af last night at 9:30. so its all ok and only one more month left.... woohooo!!!!!

ok ladies, i called the doc and she said that if i don't get AF this month that its ok and that i just have to take a test in the morning to make sure its BFN before i start the next pack. so i will test and let you all know what it says, thanks for the input all its great to hear other people opinions:)

Jennifer, hey there how are you? yeah only one month left im so excited but i know that this last pack is gonna take FOREVER!!!! yeah its weird i just kept putting off the no period thing because last month i didn't get it until 4 days left in the pack. but tomorrow there will only be one day left and never before have i been this late while on the pill. and i took it for over a year after i had Kylie. so i am not sure what is going on. i hope its just a funky cycle and nothing serious. how are things with you, good i hope you go tomorrow for your beta don't you im praying for a BFN!!!! let me know, e-mail me or IM me i should be on after 4ish tomorrow (thats CST).

Amanda - woah! What is going on? I don't talk to you for a few days and BAM - no period. Weird! Did you call your doc yet and let them know. At least call and leave a message and see what they say! Hugs to you!! Only 1 more month of pills right? WOO HOO!!

thanks again if no AF by Tuesday i will go get a blood test just to make sure and then i will let everyone know. i am just worried that maybe something is wrong with my ovary. i only have one and i know that if your ovary doesn't work then you don't get a period. and i just recently had surgery on it and i am hoping there was no serious trauma to it. thanks again:)

I just want to say that I understand not wanting to take a pregnancy test cause it is annoying to get a negative and feel like it was "wasted", but it will answer you question at least about being pregnant.  That would be my suggestion.

thanks for the reply. I am on ortho-tri-cyclen-lo and i am on the sugar pills the last week in the pack. if i dont get in by tues i will call the doc:)

but if anyone else has any imput id love to hear it:)

I have no idea what it al could mean...but I would do what you are already planning...just finish the pack and see what happens....On provera (I don't know what you are on) it took me 10 days to get my period.  Best wishes
