One Ovary left.

I had a hysterectomy done two years ago because of pain in my stomach. I had cysts in my ovaries and the doctor recommended a hysterectomy. He said that the only way the pay would go away was to get the hysterectomy.  I was 36 years old. He left my left ovary only.
My question is can I test my ovary to see if it has good eggs to do In vitro and get a surrogate mother? What would this procedure be and who can do this?
